We stayed at Green Stay Bergamo and everything was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They truly cared about our comfort and were always ready to assist. The property was very well thought out, with everything you might need already provided. We felt completely at home and had a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely choose to stay here again when visiting Bergamo.

Nice, comfortable and not expensive stay

These apartments fully met our expectations. For those visiting Bergamo for the first time: the apartments are located quite far from the city center and the Upper Town. To get there, you need to walk for about 40 minutes. We enjoy walking, so we were prepared for long strolls. The apartment has everything you need: a lovely shower, a spacious bedroom, and a terrace with a cozy view over the surrounding rooftops. The charming attic windows and mosquito screens are a nice touch. The mattress is good, and the pillows are comfortable.

We missed having wine glasses. As for the downsides — the apartment is located in the attic and is not heated. If you come here in October, make sure to bring warm pajamas.

Perfect!

Beautiful guesthouse in a peaceful setting. Lovely bedroom and bathroom! The owner was very friendly and gave us all the necessary information about our visit to Bergamo. We took a lovely walk through nature from the guesthouse to Bergamo and returned on foot in the evening. Alternatively, you can take the bus or taxi. We highly recommend Green Stay as a beautiful and peaceful base for visiting Bergamo.

Clean, hospitable, like staying in a local family.

The property is well prepared and maintained. We mainly care about the hygiene, and it’s totally what we want. The house owner’s father is very hospitable and welcoming, like being host in an Italian family. We had a very nice experience to stay there and would like to go back!

Absolutely lovely!!

It was an amazing experience staying here! The place is located to a very nice trekking path of Bergamo. Staff is very friendly and I have to say the bed is comfortable and cozy. I love the idea of this accommodation which cares and respects the environment!

A great place to stay for people who also care about the nature!

The place is lovely and clean. My special thanks go to the host who was especially welcoming and accommodating. As a nature-caring person and a vegetarian, I find it hard to find a truly sustainable accommodation. The hosts did a great job of creating a comfortable place that is self-sufficient in terms of electricity (solar panels on the roof) and providing advice on how to improve your carbon footprint in everyday life. I wish we could stay longer!

A lovely comfortable room in a quiet area

The room was very clean, well equipped and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There is tea and coffee provided and a small fridge. The bathroom is spacious and has a great shower unit. Our host was fantastic going above and beyond when we needed assistance. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Bergamo and the surrounding areas. The free parking was a nice bonus.

Really modern, clean and kozy accomodation. Viktoria was a sweet host, able to help with anything. The location is a bit far but we went for a nice walk from the old city centre and there is also a bus you can take. We loved it here and would 100% recommend!

We were very pleased to stay in the apartment :) Everything was exactly as in the description. The attention to detail is excellent - everything (including such small things as tea or soap) was eco-friendly, and it is obvious that the owners take care of nature, we really appreciated it. There was a possibility of late self-check-in, and the host was very friendly and communicated the check-in process in advance, so it was fast & easy. Also, we got coupons for a small breakfast in a neighboring cafe, which was a nice surprise :) The neighborhood is in the foothills and is very green. We enjoyed walking uphill to the old city, at the same time the apartment is close to the bus station, which is a convenient method to get to the city center. Overall, definitely recommended!

The property has been recently renovated, it is very modern and clean. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and clean, there is air conditioning and mosquito net for the summer. There is also a nice terrace with a table.

The room was clean, tidy and well equipped. House is a bit far from the center but the area has very good public transport, took us 2 minutes to go to bus stop. In nearby you can find a lot of bars, cafes and shops. Host was super nice and helpful. We got bottle of water every day and fresh towels after 3 days of our stay. Definitely recommend staying in Green Stay!

Super nice, comfortable and clean stay for a City Trip to Bergamo

We stayed at the Green Stay room for 4 nights and it was super nice ! Our room was very clean, super comfortable bed and enough space! We mostly enjoyed our balcony and the view. The room has everything you need for a few nights even coffee and tea is provided. The hosts are super friendly and were absolutely helpful with everything, gave great recommendations and really made sure that we had a great stay. At first we thought the apartment is way too far outside the city center, and of course it is a bit outside. BUT, tip from us: enjoy a nice walk through the fields you could even walk up to the Citta Alta. The area also offers a super cute wine bar which is not far away from the house and a good Pizza Place! So we can really recommend this area as you get a local feeling there.
