Meeting Atalanta

The room was quite big, and I suppose it is a passible villa if you're a young couple and madly in love. One of the two hosts I got to meet was quite friendly, but his attitude couldn't overshadow the state of the villa. It's a huge place and it requires a lot of attention, but I guess they settle for average.

First of all, I didn't get instructions, I didn't get a message and/or a reply that I'm being expected etc. Because I was arriving around 9pm, and this villa is located far from the center, although in a quite neighbourhood, from the outside it felt like a haunted house, as there was not a clear sign where the main gate is, and all sides of the object were heavily barricaded. The whole yard contained random things, such as an ambulance vehicle, the terrace was enormous, and wasn't supposedly cleaned in months, and also contained a lot of random stuff, giving the off vibe. We can also discuss that the rooms aren't regularly cleaned. However, the most disappointing part for me is that is overpriced considering its flaws and its location. I don't know about Bergamo, but in every other city I've been in Italy, I found way better hostels for the same or less money.

Relaxing accomodation with nice people

It saved us in the morning becuse the outside gate was open and it waited for us.When we entered our room was already ready and waiting for us.The room is very clean and comfy,bathroom is also spotless clean and really big.You have a free kitchen with lots of stuff and next to the kitchen you have a big terrace with a nice look on the Bergamo.Place is really warm and heating is good.TV is equipped with nice cable connection with great channels(we watched Transformers it was great😀).Host sig.Francesco is really nice and polite,he made sure everything was good for us.Honest 10/10 experience and would recommend for people of all ages.Area is nice and quiet and it seems safe.

Only problem we had is that we couldnt connect to internet so we had to use our mobile data.

Excellent budget accomodations

It was very clean and the staff is exceedingly friendly. The vending machine on the terrace has a good selection of drinks and snacks. Room heating is great, even though the weather was chilly the room was always very cozy and warm. The room is very large and it comes with large closets and a TV.

Nothing with the villa, but the airport is very close so it took me a bit longer to fall asleep.

Italian spirit and hospitality

The house has the unique Italian atmosphere: the colours, furniture and terrace. We spent 4 nights and we were really pleased. The host Francesco is incredibly nice and helpful🙂 Water and sweet snacks were every day and when we had problem with the transfer to the airport he helped and took us himself. There are lots od toys for kids. Great place to stay😎

It was extremely hot! Only a fan, we couldn’t sleep most of the night due to the heat in the room. There also was no lock on our door from the outside so when we left the property we had to hope no one would go into our room without us knowing.

VILLA GIOVANNA: FAMILIAR, FRIENDLY & CASUAL.

Breakfast was totally good and many things at our disposal to use. The position was good due to great accessibility of public transports in the area of the Villa Giovanna Residence.

The Services offered could be questioned: Bathroom Shower is too near to the exit door and the water slips away from the room. Many location of Villa Giovanna was covered by dust. And there's only 1 Kitchen Room for all the Guests, it could generate some chaos. Due to be in proximity of the Orio Al Serio "Caravaggio" Airport, the noise of the passing planes is noisy.

It was amazing to stay there. Very close to bus station, has clean and spacious rooms, and most importantly amazing people. Mr. Francesco is a lovely person. I got sick on my stay and Mr. Francesco took care of and cooked for me, arranged a room for another night as well because I wasn’t well. Thanks to him, I didn’t feel alone. I will definitely stay there in my next trip because Villa Giovanna felt like home☁️

It's worth for the low price. It's optimal when you're looking just for a place to sleep.

The host doesn't speak english, which makes the communication difficult. The place didn't look that well. The doors to the room are just sliding doors with a small hook from the inside. When you leave your room, you can't lock it up.

We were admitted in a terrible room outside the norms. Bad. Dirty bedding, dilapidated fan and dirty dingy room. Generally dirty everywhere and not a nice atmosphere, mess in the kitchen than criticism. The person guarding the house watched me like a thief. It looks like the building is forever under renovation. I don't recommend anyone to stay there

A great option for the price

We had a room with a private bath. The bathroom was spacious, with two sinks, a toilet, a bidet and a bathtub. The room itself is also spacious and cosy. There is a big bed, mini fridge, table, TV. There is internet. From the room there is an exit to the patio. We were from the road, so we went straight to bed. The villa is quite quiet. The only thing is that there is a laundry room behind the wall, perhaps someone would find it noisy. But we slept great. For dinner, the host brought a margarita pizza. Also in the room were two large bottles of water, forks and spoons, and a fruit basket.

There was an open bag of olives left in the fridge from past tenants. The lights went out a couple of times, but there was a big thunderstorm that day, so maybe that's the reason.

very good location and not far from bergamo airport and there’s a free parking also. my flight was late at night but they had no issues with late checkin as there is always someone there for your convenience. Breakfast was also delicious 😃 Special thanks to DANIEL for sorting everything out for me and thanks FRANSISCO. Very humble guys 🤗

The rooms were clean. The room and kitchen had everything you need. The host was very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

There are many doors in the house and there could be signs on the doors to make it easier to find your way around. There were also trash cans for sorting trash, but due to the lack of labels, it was difficult to understand exactly how it should be done. The rooms were a bit noisy (street noise and dogs barking).

The staff was very friendly

Unfortenelly the hotel is disorganized, they don't have a reception, and we stayed outside for a while waiting for someone. The place says "no smoking hotel" but the room smelled cigarettes. They have a good space... but seem to be split with another company or a kind of woodwork. (seem they have the hotel for a hobby). Bear in mind.. it's not close to the town, so you need to get a bus or taxi, few places to eat nearby, we need to walk for 15 minutes more or less

Tuttavia, il padrone di casa è stato molto gentile, accogliente e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi necessità. Con qualche attenzione in più alla pulizia e alla gestione della temperatura, l’esperienza potrebbe essere decisamente migliore.”

Non è piaciuto niente. Guardate i particolari delle foto, dalla muffa all'intonaco rovinato. Dalla ragnatela ai lavori d'impiantistica fatti male (sia idraulici che elettrici). L'odore e la pulizia non ne parliamo. Vi posso dire solo, vedere per credere. Purtroppo booking in questo caso, non rimborsa, ma fa gestire tutto ai proprietari, che vi ridanno solo la metà. Le foto del loro annuncio, saranno quelle dell'inizio attività, attualmente la struttura è come nelle foto da me caricate. Buona fortuna.

Bergamo merita sempre una visita!!

La struttura si trova in una zona con facilità di parcheggio: è servita dal bus urbano che permette di raggiungere il centro della città/la stazione in una decina di minuti. Si trova in una zona piuttosto silenziosa (ma ci sono rimasto un solo giorno). C'è la possibilità di prepararsi la colazione nella cucina (ci sono tante cose a disposizione, anche da mangiare).

Nel bagno metterei un tappetino a disposizione dei clienti: è sempre un po' arduo non mandare acqua fuori dalla doccia!! O almeno qualcosa che possa asciugare, eventualmente, una fuoriuscita di acqua non voluta!
