Kotor is beautiful but stay elsewhere

The apartment had a nice view and the location was good, although it’s up a very steep hill which makes access difficult.

Unfortunately, the positives end there. The facilities were very poor — the bed was broken, the air conditioning didn’t reach the bedroom, and the fridge door wouldn’t close properly. The bathroom mirror felt hazardous, and the curtains even fell down during our stay. On top of that, payment was only accepted in cash, something that was never mentioned at the time of booking. Overall, a very disappointing stay and I wouldn’t recommend this apartment.

Very expensive for such bad conditions.

The location was very close to the old town and to the beach.

The apartment was very worn out and not taken care of. The room was dirty, full of ants everywhere, and the bedsheets had yellow stains. The bathroom smelled very badly, and there was no shower curtain, so all the water would just come out. The air conditioning was very old and didn’t seem to be maintained - so it did not function so well. The apartment is very difficult to find as there is no clear address. The day prior to our arrival we contacted the host and asked if we could arrive a bit earlier than the check-in time, to drop off our bags. He confirmed it was fine, but when we arrived (after a steep walk up and lots of stairs), we called him three times and he did not answer. Finally a neighbour found us wandering around and called the host, who was taking a nap. The place has potential but it is not well maintained and too expensive for the quality.

Perfect

The owner was exceptional and met us to get in and even carried our heavy bags for us. Location was superb!! But be prepared it is uphill!! But only 10 mins from the old town. Facilities were good and had everything you needed for a few days.

Super value for money and excellent location

We loved our 3 nights stay at Apartments Feniks! Very well located, in a quiet side-street. The apartment was well-sized, the layout was perfect for us 2 friends. The view is amazing, really cool. The host is super friendly too, came to pick us up at the mall, and helped us carry our stuff upstairs, as well as gave us some honey from Ostrog monastery (best honey I've ever tasted!). Highly recommend!

We did not like that there were only stairs going uphill towards the house complex, so we could not wheel our wheelies up, but had to carry them. The bathroom needs refurbishment for sure, but everything worked as expected.

Peaceful, safe and great location!

The property has everything, including washing machine and it is clean. The location is so close to Old town and sunshine beach. The owners are kind and so helpful. I missed my bus and arrived at kotor late and the owner welcomed me in the bus station. I am trully thankful for it.

It was a great stay.

It has a wonderful view for the whole city. The apartment is not brand new but it is very cosy and clean. The owner met me at the bus station and give me a lift to the property.

Our short, pre season, stay in Kotor.

Free parking was a little risky due to the very narrow road. It did work out okay though. The apartment was very dated from photos, different furniture and the decorative finish is much older/aged than the photos. Coffee available, but no coffee maker to use it in? One set of venetian blinds did not work and could not be angled or raised.

Located good to have a walk into town. The view from the balcony was really nice. Checkin was easy.

The apartment wasn't in good condition. The bathroom is really old and does need a renovation. In general the apartment felt and looked worn. The bed and especially the pillows are terrible.

Summer holiday

Location! Near old town, the beach and supermarket. Simple room with a terrace. It was as expected. Nothing more, nothing less. Good value for money. Would visit again.

Difficult to find. Signs would be good. Remember when booking that all rooms do not have the view! No shower wall/curtain. Pillows were terrible.

Great location and views of Kotor bay.

Excellent location in the center of Kotor close to the old town and the water. Our room was large with a large balcony overlooking Kotor bay. Large living area and kitchen with all the necessary utensils, plates, cups, glasses and a kettle.

Would have been better to have a room with a double bed. Shower didn't have a place to hang the shower head, so had to hold in our hands. There is parking on the street and the host will guide you there, but be aware that the streets are very narrow, so large vehicles may have trouble.

Location was great, outside the mess of the old town but still very close. The studio has everything you need. The little terrace outside is also very cute. Communication with the host was also easy and he was very nice and welcoming. Totally recommended!

Great value for money

The place is a very good value for money. Esspecially having in mind the location which is only couple of minutes walk from the Old Town and the local beaches, bars and shops. The place is well furnished and has pretty much all of the things you may need during your stay. The owners were kind enough to also put shampoo and coffee which are the details I kind of appreciate when starying somewhere. The host was very nice, kind and friendly.

Grest place to stay for a couple, when visiting for multiple days

Overall great Kotor experience with this cozy, next to old town (10min walking distance), place, with airconditioning, washingmachine and fully equipped kitchen. Host is great.

El parking realmente es un espacio reservado en una calle estrecha, se agradece porque está cerca pero es cierto que es una calle difícil. Las instalaciones son mejorables, el lavabo es enano, la ducha no tiene mampara ni cortina.

Wenn man geringe Erwartungen hat und nur einen Ort zum schlafen sucht, voll okay.

Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Lage okay, wenn man bereit ist eine kurze Strecke sehr steil zu laufen. Für unsere Bedürfnisse war es okay.

Die Ausstattung war leider mangelhaft, kein Brett oder scharfes Messer, keine Gewürze, sehr viel kleiner und beengt alles als gedacht.
