Natya River Sidemen

Beautiful location, scenery, views and environment were lovely. Best shower and ample seating space so guests aren’t on top of each other. Food was excellent, breakfast portions very small.

DO NOT Book deluxe room on the river UNLESS you bring earplugs. The noise from the rapids was excessive, it wasn’t a peaceful river stream. Communicating was near impossible over the noise and sleep was also near impossible. Beautiful to sit and enjoy during the day. Really not suitable for children it is on a cliff edge. Staff weren’t very attentive

Natya river was one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever stayed - it was tranquil with lovely views and everything you needed on site. The staff were lovely and food was great. I’d also recommend the local hike with Wayan.

Disappointing stay – felt more like a cheap hostel than a hotel The natural surroundings are beautiful, and the staff were kind and attentive—that was the highlight. But overall, the experience didn’t live up to expectations and definitely wasn’t worth the price. I’ve stayed in far better places in Bali for less. The facilities were underwhelming. The pool was very shallow—more like a puddle than a proper swimming pool—and the loungers were dirty. Music at the poolside was often too loud and didn’t suit the peaceful, nature-focused vibe the place is trying to create. The food was also a big letdown. On my first day, they were already out of several things I wanted to order, which wasn’t a great first impression. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t improve much throughout the stay. Since the location is so remote, I ended up eating there most nights simply because I had no other option. As a solo traveler without a scooter, getting to the city for meals or activities was difficult. The biggest disappointment was how far the reality was from the image. I had been wanting to stay here for years, but it felt more like a cheap hostel than the glamping hotel I expected. I definitely booked too many nights—one or two would have been enough. In the end, I found myself just waiting to move on to my next destination.

I’ve never been to such an incredible place in my entire life. The nature, the warmth of the locals, the outstanding service, and the view… What an absolutely breathtaking landscape. We were unsure about visiting Sidemen, but thank God we finally decided to come here. If you’re looking to escape the gentrification of Ubud and truly rest in the middle of nature, this is the perfect place to do it. Thank you to everyone who made this experience possible 🙏

Nature was fantastic, river was so powerful, was hard to sleep next to it, for me:) but got very energized and cleansed through it.

One of the most spectaculars places I’ve ever stayed. The walk down is a bit of a hike but worth it! They will help with bags. The pool looking over the river is so relaxing and peaceful. Staff were amazing and food was great at the hotel restaurant. Beds are extremely comfortable.

They shall do everyday cleaning , changing towels , sometimes they were not doing it unless we ask them to do.

This is a great spot for a 2-3 nights to get away from the madness of bali tourist areas absolute gem of a place

The location and view are the best feature of this place. There are plenty of nice places to sit in peace and enjoy the scenery and there is easy acces to go down to the river. We also thought the matras was very comfy.

The food in the restaurant is not up to the standard. There are plenty of nice places to eat out in the surrounding area, but if you don’t have a scooter it will be hard to get there. We stayed multiple nights and were a little disappointed our towels weren’t exchanged and water wasn’t refilled. We did read later on in the reviews that you can request this at the desk, but this ideally should be part of the service.

Such lovely quiet space. Right in the nature of sidemen. With many nice “instagramable” spots. Would definitely recommend.

We like the view very much, the setup, the greens, it s a beautiful camp site. It has pool though not large enough for swimming (exercise). The open access to the river is pleasant, the dining area is spacious and lovely just to sit and relax.

What annoyed us a bit was the waiting time for food services, we had to ask more than couple times to get our orders and even breakfast time was not promptly served at 8am tho the staff said it should be ready by 8.

Amazing location in rural Sideman. Very special place. They also have great partnerships with the rafting companies! We had a lot of fun!

Beautiful location, pretty comfortable glamping tents, lovely staff.

There were bed bugs which, we both with my husband had bites after spending one night there… Pillows are too big and hard, had a neck pain.. Also breakfast should be improved. I was really disappointed to order French brioche with caramelizes banana and receive simple toasts with lots of yellow margarine and some banana slices topped with sugar syrup.

Food was great Location was great Beautiful grounds If not for the issues with sleeping, it would be a perfect venue that I would return to.

The issue was that I was in tent number 5 and there is a small waterfall behind it that was super loud, so was very hard to sleep. Also there was only a thick blanket and no top sheet, so was also too hot.

We had a pleasant stay, the staff was very sweet and when I asked to turn the music down they did at the pool area. It was my birthday and they gave me a delicious lava cake with ice cream! We were a group of friends with dogs and it was perfect to celebrate with the fire and full moon. Comfy bed and power points next to the bed.

Our tent was very close to the river and we couldn't sleep well as we are sensitive to loud sounds. It was like having a waterfall inside the room. I didn't see much different on having or not the bathroom attached to the tent. The tents on the back were almost the same size and cheaper, and the distance to the bathroom was small.

The location and views are magnificent. Beautiful pool and restaurant overlooking the river. The tents are cosey and comfortable. I have enjoyed every minute staying there.

the location is amazing if you want to have a little getaway from the city. it’s quiet and lots of areas to enjoy the view.

there was a loud music coming from the pool area in the afternoon, but was turned down towards the evening time. perhaps the music can be kept only to the pool side.

wow! This is such a beautiful property. The listing definitely doesn’t do it justice. We stayed in one of the Glamping tents with the hammock and loved every minute. Only wish I had stayed longer! Super romantic and full of nature!

The restaurant closes at 7:30 which seems quite early considering there isn’t too much else around. We ordered our dinner in advance and it was ready and waiting for us to eat after getting back from a long day.

Be aware it’s a bit of a building site at the moment as they are building a big pool and other building work. hence lots of construction work and noise in the day. the staff were really great tho and once it’s finished it will be perfect.
