Most beautiful place to stay in Bali

The best place we have ever stayed in Bali. Beautiful, quite, calm and peacefull. With amazing gardens, nice pool. Staff is very friendly, helpful, attending and always smiling. Food delicious. Everything was just perfect. We wish we could stay longer.

As quit as it can be (surrounded by a hindu-town, that means loud ceremonys every day; but in sidemen the most quiet place), super beautiful area and lovley staff. Breakfast is delivered to your appartment, you have to order it at the day before.

A great retreat in the country.

Very large room/bungalow. a great place if you like hiking around the rice paddies. It’s a pity there is so much rubbish in the gutters, the irrigation ditches and roads. There are about a dozen restaurants within one kilometre walk.

Not a great view. No food on site but they brought it in from next door.

It’s an absolute beauty! You’re right in the middle of nature - it’s super peaceful. Staff is very sweet and kind.

Breathtaking views of garden and spacious rooms in the heart of Sidemen

Beautiful garden view with spacious room and bathroom. Be aware that bathroom has open space above shower, like many bookings in Bali. Separate space for closet. Breakfast was lovely and could be ordered the day before. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful surroundings.

Peaceful bliss in Sidemen.

We loved the serenity, the pool and gardens and the delicious breakfasts but the standout were the staff especially Feri. She literally could not do enough for us. She was amazing. She arranged many things for us and even went to the supermarket and pharmacy for us. What service!

The only tiny downside was getting around. If you don't want to have a scooter then you need to walk to places or get a driver ( which isn't always worth it for short distances) This is not unique to Pastiny Santy villa. It would apply to lots of accommodation options.

Amazing hidden gem

This property is so beautiful, surrounded by insane views, the photos don’t do it justice. The breakfast was perfect, the room and outdoor shower were 10/10. I would recommend coming to Sideman and staying at this beautiful place. The staff were all very nice and accommodating too.

Breathtaking views with a cozy local vibe

Beautiful garden with pool and view of Mount Batur. Friendly and responsive staff, nice breakfast, toiletries provided (toothbrush, even razor), water refill available in the room. Good wi-fi. Close to tasty warungs.

Doors didn’t fully close, so some ants got in. But we’re used to this in Bali, so that was no problem to us:)

A beautiful place, but with a few details to bear in mind

The place is amazing with the pool and the nature around The breakfast is also very delicious, colorful and tasty The staff is really helpful and they are going their best to make you feel home The location is quiet and perfect The little extra? The mosquito net around the bed! (Thanks for my jacket bringing in Amed cause I forget it)

If you're afraid of gecko, skip it, you're not safe from having them in your room (and seeing their droppings on the floor) There was a strange smell in the room, particularly in the toilet and bathroom, which was not at all pleasant (a mixture of sewage and faeces that was a bit strange...) No hot water (I took cold showers for three days, which isn't a problem when it's very hot, but more annoying when it's raining and and you want to be warm)

Lovely place to stay!

Room was comfortable and the pool was lovely to spend some time next to. The gardens were really well maintained too! We had an issue with the air con which was resolved really quickly by staff.

Some of the plug sockets looked like they needed some attention - very minor point though!

Beautiful stay

It is in a great location in town and the pool/hang out ares is stunning. So peaceful and a nice place to spend the afternoon around the pool. The rooms were huge with beautiful bathrooms. The staff was very attentive as well.

They offer a lot of tours and will help organize everything but it is for a higher price than you can find other places around the area so I recommend booking your own transport and tours.

Terrible Air Conditioning and Deceptive Service The air conditioning was blowing hot air from the moment I arrived, making the room unbearably hot. I immediately asked for a different room, but the staff misled me from the start. They claimed no other rooms were available, which was a clear lie—they just couldn’t be bothered. Instead of offering a quick, reasonable solution, they strung me along, telling me a technician would come to fix the problem. I was left waiting outside for over 5 hours, only to be told later that they could, in fact, move me to a different room after all. It was obvious from the beginning that they knew about the issue but chose to conceal it, hoping I’d give up if they kept me waiting long enough. The entire experience felt deceitful and dismissive. Why not just offer me another room from the start? The service was careless and unprofessional, and the room was average at best—nowhere near worth the price they charge. This stay completely soured my experience in Sidemen, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Tranquill place to enjoy the counteyside

I really liked that it was in a quiet area and the stuff was nice and friendly. The room was clean and well equiped, with a dressing, a working AC and a fridge. The garden is amaizing with a soothing sound from the pool. It was also a great experience as you get to experience the local lifestyle more. At 06:00am you could wake up with the prayer sounds, which I really liked.

The bathroom sometimes had a smell also the shower cap was broken, hope they will fix it.

Feri the caretaker welcomed us & explained things in the room. She made us a delicious breakfast each morning. The garden was beautiful with lots of colourful plants. The pool was good.

The big apartment is beautiful, we loved how spacious it was and that we had two bathrooms as well. The view is amazing, the swimming pool is very nice as well. We loved our 4 nights stay here and would definitely come back if we're ever coming back to Sidemen.

The host was very friendly and helped us in organizing our programs for our short stay when we arrived. The surrounding is beautiful, the villa is really nice, I can fully recommend it.

In one of the villas we had no hot water. Unfortunatelly the host was out for a day so we could not see if they can handle it in a fast way. Since we rented 2 villas, we could use the bathroom in the other one instead.

Quiet and welcoming!

Our hostess was the loveliest person and did everything to make our stay peasant. She cooks a nice breakfast which you eat in your own outside area. A lot of work has gone into the garden and the pool area is very nice - a welcome cool space after walking in the heat. This property is a little out of the way but very quiet. An easy walk to warungs to eat in the evening.

The room and property is beautiful, it is in a quiet area with lots of nature surrounding it. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a view of the rice fields that some other stays have in Sidemen.

There was some problem renting a scooter which the staff tried to arrange for me. I had to wait quite a while before they had finally brought a scooter that didn’t have broken light or a broken fuel indicator.

Perfect hideaway in an oasis of peace!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Pastiny Santy. Booked 3 nights and we extended it for 5 nights because we liked it so much. The villa is surrounded by beautiful nature and rice fields. It’s an oasis of peace. Compared to the busier places in Bali such as Ubud, it is very quiet and peaceful here. Villa Pastiny Santy has 2 cottages so it is never busy. Many thanks to Feri who was ready for us every day to arrange everything such as scooter service, taxi service, laundry service and last but not least the wonderful massage service. There is a room next to the villa where someone comes by to give a massage. Feri also arranged a guide for a trekking tour within the ricefields. Everything was perfect for us. You have a lot of good restaurants within 5/10 minutes walk. Would recommend this stay 1000%!

I booked this hotel because of the favorable reviews written by others. After checked in, it was found that there was a big gap with the expectation.

This hotel is very difficult to find. You can't find your destination by car-hailing app. The driver also took a long time to find it, which is geographical isolation. Although it is far away from noisy crowds, when sleeping at night, the sound of insects and water flow is a bit loud, which can easily affect sleep. Occasionally a few small bugs were found in the room. The host is not friendly with me

Beautiful clean Bungalows, amazing garden, beautiful nature view, lovely lady, scooter for 80k to rent, sidemen is so relaxed and quiet, go there to see real bali. Totally recommend this accommodation!

I was unlucky, they were repairing a garden house from 8am so it was a bit noisy. No window to look outside, you have to open the door for daylight but you have a great terrace to relax.
