Hoffman Hideaway

Comfortable and cosy stay which was perfect for our needs after a long day of running. Yes, the place needs a bit of tlc (TV not on the wall and front door a bit stiff) but it’s clean with great facilities for cooking and cleaning. The beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, quiet street at night, good parking space, lovely views of the hills and great location (less than 5 mins drive to central Buxton) We’d definitely stay again

A cafetiere and radio would have been good additions

Cosy, warm and easy parking. Lovely pub just 30 seconds walk away. Beautiful surrounding country side and excellent value for money. Thank you

Good location, clean and tidy

It was very cold when we arrived, I called to find oud out how to put the heating on. Somebody was sent around to help me and eventually we figured out the problem. There were no tea bags, no tissues, no shampoo or soap, no coffee machine. The door handle / lock was of a type we had not seen before, turning counterclockwise to the upright position to lock. The instructions advised that the heating should be turned off upon departure but no instructions how to turn it on. The fitted sheet was too small for the mattress and came off the corners during the night.
