Very comfortable place, 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

High quality property. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent WiFi. Comfortable bed.

Neighbourhood isnt well cared for, quite a lot of student houses but nonetheless safe.

Good property with parking close to beach and town.

Good location with easy parking. Excellent kitchen and bathroom. Very clean. Good sized lounge. Mostly well furnished.

Kitchen pans were damaged and not really sufficient. Hob was very fiddly to use - no instructions. Chairs in the kitchen were adequate but not particularly comfortable. Heated towel rail in bathroom could not be turned on.

Lovely little place near the beach

Great location for visiting my son at Swansea Uni, lovely little place with everything we needed. Parking very handy and so close to beach

Location close to the city centre, free onsite parking and WiFi. Good facilities available. Useful leaflets on walks and extra information provided by host via email.

Couldn't work out how to get the radiator to come on in the lounge. Not a complaint but the mirror in the lounge was too high for a small person like me.

Well managed by Lauren, cottage was immaculate.

Lauren was keen to make our stay as memorable as possible. Readily available to solve a couple of small problems and offer assistance.

Near to beach but about 25 minute walk to town.

The house it self was well presented with toiletries included. Beds were both double. You could walk directly down to the beach and if you went the other way, then there were lots of shops and cafes- which was great. The location was ok, if you don't mind no view.

The street it was on- littered road and run down hairdresser/shop/graffiti on walls. Opposite there was a pile of rubbish dumped by a building. The host wasn't quick to communicate, which wasn't helpful but when she did reply, she was pleasant but it was too late by then. There was a bad smell of drains in the bathroom upstairs and in the street. The smell did dissipate a bit but we had to leave the window open all the time. We had lots of problems with the blinds and I messaged her before we left to communicate this but no response. In the front bedroom, the blinds would not pull up and the back bedroom- nothing would move either. There was an outside area, which could do with some work- there was a fake plant fallen on the ground and a few chairs but not really a scenic place to sit.

Americans who enjoyed the stay

We liked the location, the beds, the parking, the TV, the patio, the hot shower and needed shower items, i.e. shower soap, shampoo and conditioner.

The bathroom smelled slightly of sewer when we first arrived. We couldn't figure out how to get the heat to stay on, the kitchen is not well stocked with cooking utensils and there's no coffee maker only instant coffee. We thought it was a little weird there were no check out instructions.

We had a wonderful stay .The house was very clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, yet nice and quiet. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

The house was decorated to a really lovely standard. The beds were very comfy. The hob wasn't working, but it was fixed the next day.

The kitchen is the only place that lets the house down. It needs more utensils, cookware dishes, more crockery, a jug, and a dustpan and brush. There was only one wine glass, too. It stated on the itinerary that there is a hairdryer, but there isn't one. We couldn't access terrestrial TV, which my husband, being old school, didn't like.

The one bedroom villas are exceptional. The two bed room villa seems to be the same square footage - so where our adult son was in the second room, the villa felt smaller than the one bedroom villa.

Central location and close to the station, providing good access to amenities and travel to the Gower. Property very clean and welcoming. It was a nice gesture to provide tea/coffee sachets for our arrival.

It was extremely hot during our stay, there was a floor fan but an additional small fan for the property would have been welcome. The living room has very bright lighting, it could benefit from a small lamp to darken the lighting at night time.
