Great flat

Great flat in a central location, just a short walk from shops and restaurants. It’s clean, comfortable, and well equipped for a short or long stay.

The only downside is that you need a permit to park in front of the property, but there’s free parking in surrounding streets

Fabulous stay

Location was fabulous. Walkable distance to Wind st and bus station. Clean and Practical flat for a weekend stay. The beds were nice and comfortable, too. Best was wall sockets had USB inlet to charge our phones.

Kitchen was a missing some kitchenware but functional still. Great value for money

Very disappointing.

The only good thing about this property was the location.

It had not been cleaned. There was food on the table, hair and other debris on the floors. The property is poorly kept and had a stale odour. There were bags of refuse piled up outside the door too. I would have searched for another place to stay but was on a very tight schedule with family and didn’t have the time. Luckily, it was just one night.

Poor communication and the house is not well maintained.

I could tell there was a new heater railing in the bathroom and the kettle and toasters were new too. The heating worked well.

We weren't given the address until I sent photo proof of my ID but I was not told about this process until a couple of hours before we were arriving and I was getting slow replies and the responses were not addressing my questions. The house in general is quite run down and there is mould on the bedroom and kitchen walls. The toilet seat doesn't match the toilet as well. The kitchen sink and oven were dirty when we arrived.

We did not stay

Nothing which is why we did not stay.

The front garden was overgrown and there was rubbish in it. The electricity box was broken. The keys were not in the box where they were supposed to be so we knocked the door. A man answered the door and the smell of cannabis wafted out. We went in and saw a wardrobe door hanging off in the first apartment. That was enough for us not to want to stay there. It felt unsafe. We have requested a refund and it has been refused even though we booked this property in good faith.

I didn't seem to have been sent the information to get in. The host was extremely helpful and text me over the information as soon as they could which was much appreciated.
