Uncomfortable and dirty

It was close to where we needed to be.

Whole place was run down and grubby. Everything needs updating or cleaning properly. Furniture was stained and you sank in to it when you sat down. There was a hole in the landing that one of us tripped over on. The garden area was so overgrown that you couldn’t go out there. We brought food to cook for dinner but the oven didn’t work. When we contacted the host to let them know they weren’t very helpful. The oven itself was so old and dirty that we wouldn’t feel comfortable using it anyway and there wasn’t sufficient equipment in the kitchen, such as knives to make a meal. The ceiling in the bathroom was mouldy and the whole place smells damp. The shower didn’t work properly and was dirty. The carpets were coming up at the edges and there were stains on the rugs. TV remote also didn’t work properly.

The dining table was set nicely

Almost everything. Just to name some things; the lock box with the key was unlocked, the place was very dirty, there was piles of rubbish in the backyard, there was mould growing on the walls and ceilings, paint was peeling away, there were stains on the bedding and towels, there was a dirty cloth on the railings, and the carpet was coming up in multiple areas. We left early after the first morning and had to book accommodation elsewhere the remaining days of our trip.

Good size, comfy beds and pillows

Oven didn’t work, fridge didn’t work very well, not cleaned very well - glasses dirty, inside kitchen cupboards dirty, mugs and classes not cleaned very well. Outside area is very small and covered in fag butts and rubbish!

Good but could be significantly improved with a few small tweaks

Spacious and close to town centre. 3 big bedrooms. Clean and tidy

Cheap furniture - the main bedroom bed is sprung like a trampoline and needs changing. Other furniture and carpets showing their age. No dishwasher. Street Parking outside house limited to 3 hrs no return. Landlord should provide day permits to guests as parking elsewhere is a big challenge.

Close to the town centre

Place smelled like cigarettes. Old furnishing Host sent the wrong code for the key lock so was outside waiting for some time before they got back to me. Not that’s clean and modern Bathroom and shower room had poor hot water pressure Wouldn’t stay again

Great house, ideally suited to 5 cyclists on Route 4. Super comfy beds, plenty of hot water for 5 adults sharing. Tesco express 4 min walk away

Miss this place

Did not stay! This property was damp and filthy dirty. There was NO WAY any of us could stay. Beds felt damp,shower room was filthy. The whole house has NOT BEEN CLEANED IN A VERY LONG TIME. Photographs were taken many years ago. Carpets were unhoovered,rugs dangerously curling at the edges. Plaster flaking off walls. Outside area filthy and the only flowers were weeds. Scruffy,dirty & disgusting. Booking.com need to remove this property immediately. We were told no photographic proof then no refund! We will see..................

Complete and utter failure.

Nothing if I’m honest

The photos of the property made it look like we was having a bargain. We entered the property and it was nothing but run down, shambolic and very unhappy due the way it looks in person compare to the images. We was definitely sold a dream. I want to write this review as it will not be a fit place for anyone to stay in for longer than one night and we was even tempted to sleep in our cars.

The property felt cold on our arrival.The heating could have been on a timer. The bed in the front bedroom was very creaky resulting in a bad nights sleep!

House does not live up to the original photos

Nothing, couldn’t wait to leave.

The whole house, has multiple signs of damp & bad electrics. On entering the property we faced electric conduit coming off the walls, the sofa in the living room was badly stained and placed on wooden blocks, the chair was so low it was difficult to get off it. Rug was behind a door making door unable to be opened. Centre table in the living room was broken and if knocked, would fall over. Kitchen was no better - damp everywhere and plaster coming off the wall. The table was laid but in a position making it difficult to get past especially with another rug causing a trip hazard. The downstairs toilet had a broken lock and was so tiny. Upstairs - holes in many of the walls Bedroom 1 had electric heater under the curtain, damp on the walls, bedding was too thin for the time of year. Non-existent floor boards by the door Bedroom 2 same issue with the bedding, rug behind the door so couldn’t be opened properly and curled corner causing a trip hazard. No mirror or plug sockets even though a hair dryer had been supplied. Shower room full of ceiling mold, dirty floors and shower. Bathroom again signs of mold and a lump of what looked like chewing gum left on the bath. 2nd floor bedroom - access is via a very narrow precarious staircase, again the bedding was too thin for this time of year and a sock was found on the floor when entering.

Local to town, cheap for big group and lots of space, cool music equipment to try such as a record player guitars etc. Clean and easy to access

really cold when arrived with almost a damp feel due to heating not already being on when we arrived but YouTube video explained how to get heating working which heated the house up throughout our stay. Kitchen cupboards need a clear out from old items from previous guests

The host was very friendly. We got a little bit lost on arrival and Celine picked us up from the city centre. We thought this was very kind. Swansea stadium

The property could have been cleaner. The shower didn't look look like it had been cleaned to a high standard. The double bed wasn't very comfy either. We had issues with parking too. Finding a 24 hour carpark in Swansea is a nightmare. We could only book the parking until 8 am so had to get up very early to move the car. We could have done without this after seeing an evening concert the night before as we only ended up with 5 and a half hours sleep. The check in video stated that you receive a complimentary bottle of wine but it hadn't been left for us on arrival. The taxi rank in the city centre have extremely rude drivers. They majority demand cash only and if you are just staying locally,they tell you to walk as it isn't worth thier while. Very odd! Overall wouldn't visit swansea again. The concert we attended was amazing though and it is a very nice stadium.

First time was good

On the whole the house was comfortable and fairly clean. The beds were lovely. We all slept well. Good set of utensils. Linen and towels lovely and clean. Didn't go to top room but I granddaughter loved it.

Didn't like the mould in the shower. The rubbish found under black armchair in sitting room. Not have broom or hoover to clean dinning and kitchen floor.

This suite has a lot of space and a strong musical atmosphere. The bathroom is also big enough for everyone and has a lot of paper towels. It also comes with some mini-games.

I don't know why the heating is not so warm at night.

Close to city centre, has everything we needed for a night away

Had everything we needed for our stay. Kindly had a bottle of wine on the table. Beds were comfy, overall a clean and tidy place to stay and reasonably priced.

It was advertised as having a hot tub which we were looking forward to using however there wasn't one there. We can only assume they were referring to the bath tub in a room on its own. So this was disappointing. Lots of bin bags and rubbish on the floor by the bag door which was a little unpleasant.
