Good place to stay in rio.

I liked the place in general, clean and tidy. You have good restaurant very close serving good food. The owner take care about you always he makes sure if you are comfortable and feel well. You have two bathroom in the room.

To be honest I can not see what was wrong because it's a good quality price.

Bad location, gang vibe, feels cold especially if you don’t speak Portuguese

The staff put in a modicum of effort in trying to help me with some issues.

My bunk had literally no ladder, which is less than ideal. the vibe was weird, where it felt like I entered a gang den as an outside. No one was friendly, although some staff were alright. Wifi was terrible and no one spoke anything but Portuguese, which is fair in Brazil, but still surprising in Rio. Given all of this, I felt pretty isolated in this cold place in a dangerous neighbourhood. I tried to get a refund, but I didn’t get much help. I was told refunding is “not in their policy” but that the staff would try to see with the manager. I never heard back nor got a refund. I recommend this hostel to no one.

Very poor

The air conditioning is only permitted from 11pm-4am. Since there is not really air circulation in the room (the windows only go towards the hallway and not outside) the heat in the room in unbearable up from 5 am. The stuff was very unfriendly and didn't even attempt to find a solution (everyone in the room offered to pay for longer use). The room was extremely small and uncomfortable and the place generally not really clean (especially the pool).

Very good

The place is super chill, right next to the Sambadrome which is super convenient during the carnaval. There's a nice terrace with a small pool and barbecue place. The staff is very helpful and we spent a nice time in the hostel.

The only bad part was the private room which didn't feel private since the top part of the wall was missing make it a common space with the other room nearby and the corridor where people pass.

Close to the Sambadrome.

The 'room' isn't a room as it's simply partitioned walls without an enclosed ceiling. The locker was broken so you couldn't lock your valuables. The bedding hadn't been changed from the previous stay, it was covered in glitter and dirt. A pillow was missing. The ceiling fan didn't work. The wifi is only available in reception and worked for only part of our stay. The shared bathroom toilet was blocked. The water stopped working in the sink and shower. We left early the next day as we couldn't wait to leave.

As pessoas são cordiais. Adorei os funcionários. A localização p o carnaval é ótima! Tem restaurante e padaria do lado, mercado também. Achei sem sentido desligarem o ar condicionado se o calor estava intenso. Eles só deixam ligar 22h até 5h da manhã. Eles mesmos entram no quarto e desligam. Isso é péssimo! As pessoas chegam de manhã p dormirem e tem q ficar no calor. O dia e o horário mais quente NÃO PODE LIGAR. ELES QUE FICAM COM O CONTROLE DO AR DOS QUARTOS.

O local é bem QUENTE Não existe entrar no quarto e desligar o AR CONDICIONADO . Ainda mais no carnaval. A gente chega amanhecendo o dia , um calor absurdo e não pode ligar o ar. Acho q deveriam disponibilizar toalha, se vc quiser tem q pagar. Se vc quiser trancar suas coisas no armário tem q pagar cadeado também. Se você for pagar em cartão eles aumentam 5% mas não tem aviso prévio. Acho que a cozinha poderiam melhorar a limpeza, achei bem sujinho. Nem fiz nada lá , até água o pessoal estava comprando no mercado.

Ótimo custo benefício

A localização é perfeita. Eu e minha amiga pegamos para irmos à Sapucaí, fomos caminhando até lá. Na região tem de tudo! Restaurantes, mercados, padaria. Os funcionários são extremamente fofos e educados! As instalações são comuns, pra quem já está acostumado com hostel, cama confortável, travesseiro e coberta. A única coisa que eu adicionaria seria um espelho maior no quarto! Como é feminino, na hora das garotas se arrumarem ficamos revezando. Mas nada que dê problema, só um conforto a mais. Fizemos várias amizades. Voltaremos com certeza!

Fiquei no quarto privativo e gostei por ter um banheiro dentro dele

Quando fui reservar aqui na plataforma, o quarto duplo tinha a opção de cama de casal ou duas de solteiro (eu queria duas de solteiro). No momento do check in, me informaram que não tinha essa opção que teria só de casal. Fora o horário de check in, me informaram uma coisa, chegando lá era outra. A hidro completamente suja e abandonada. Ar condicionado só pode ligar a partir das 22h da noite e usar de madrugada. Foi frustrante.

Ótimo custo benefício.

O bairro é tranquilo, tem restaurantes na esquina, padaria, farmácia e mercado próximos. Fica à uns 10 minutos da rodoviária, e 16 minutos da praia do Flamengo (acredito que seja a mais próxima). Próximo a Lapa também que era um dos lugares que fui com intuito de conhecer. É um hostel simples, camas e colchões são um pouco antigos, mas pelo valor compensam.

Uma das funcionárias estava alocada no mesmo quarto que nós. Acordava cedo e batia as portas, falava alto, o que incomodou um pouco e tirou um pouco de nossa privacidade.

Descaso com hospede

O quarto com Espaço ideal entre uma cama pra outra

Eu estive no evento no domingo e retornei por volta de 01:00 da manhã. Toquei a campainha e liguei diversas vezes, mas ninguém atendeu. Fiquei aproximadamente 20 minutos aguardando para ver se alguém aparecia, e nada. No fim, precisei pular o muro e bater forte na porta para conseguir entrar. Achei a situação muito desagradável e até desumana. O recepcionista estava dormindo — algo que nunca imaginei que pudesse acontecer. Espero que isso não fique impune e que a equipe seja devidamente orientada quanto aos horários e responsabilidades durante a madrugada.

A localização não é das melhores. Lugar muito deserto e a cozinha poderia ser mais bem estruturada e precisa de novos utensílios.
