Santa Teresa Junto à Natureza is so beautiful! It felt like sleeping in a gorgeous jungle atop the neighborhood. Very quick walk to the cafes and cinema of Santa Teresa. Deep history and art to honor it. Delicious breakfast and gorgeous property!

Excellent building, fantastic staff, stay if you understand the location and access

If you are not Brazilian I would be careful and check this area. This is not the hostels fault but it’s very hard actually to get in and out of Santa Teresa neighbourhood. Ubers won’t go up there regularly taking 20-30 min to find one that’s around. Absolutely loved it there however and would recommend to anyone who understands how to get around this (usually taking public transport or hailing a cab on the street). Beautiful site. A nice balance between affordability and comfort, I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and clean, the place is a great choice for those looking for a budget friendly option close to the center of Rio. The host is accommodating and responsive. The included breakfast is a nice touch.

This hostel is such a great place – very authentic, extremely comfortable, and with amazing staff who make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is both unique and welcoming, and it’s the kind of spot that leaves you with wonderful memories. Highly recommended!

The best spot in Rio

Marcelo is the best host I have ever had. he is very accommodating and treats his guest very well. We were a relatively big group, but he was very helpful with helping us connect with taxis and other local spots/things. His property is a gem, absolutely beautiful, it is an oasis and I felt very comfortable and peaceful. I had the room with the double suite which had a hammock and that was very enjoyable. The breakfast was a treat every morning where we would get fresh bread, meat +cheese, fresh fruits, and juice. We did not get to enjoy the pool, but it looked really nice as well. We had the chance to meet his dog and cat and they were very nice as well. I recommend everyone to book this space, it was truly beautiful. And the neighborhood of Santa Teresa was also very nice. I will be back in the future. Marcelo and the property were just amazing.

Great Stay

Check-in was supper easy. The place felt secure. There are only 3 rooms available at any time. The host is very nice and responsive.

I didn't have enough time to stay for breakfast and I wish I did.

A superb host and a great house and location in Rio de Janeiro

Fabulous location in Santa Theresa in the hills overlooking the bay of Rio de Janeiro. Very clean an comfortable, with beautiful antique furnishings. Garden and plants well cared for - and there is a small swimming pool. The owner is just an amazing host who went out of his way to help us during our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

Casa muito agradável

Lugar super silencioso com muitas árvores, quarto amplo e muito limpo, colchão confortável. O café da manhã é bem organizado, cada quarto tem uma bandeja ao seu dispor na geladeira. Descemos a pé pra curtir o charmoso bairro de Santa Teresa. Também utilizamos o serviço de agendamento de táxi de Santa Teresa e funcionou bem.

GREAT PLACE

Lugar realmente lindo, com características marcantes da arquitetura do Rio de Janeiro. O quarto é extremamente fresco e confortável, e o café da manhã é delicioso, preparado com muita organização. O anfitrião e sua esposa são muito gentis, solícitos e de uma educação impecável. Quem se hospedar terá uma vista esplêndida dos aviões ao redor do local. Para quem ama a natureza, é impossível não se apaixonar pela calma, pelo frescor e pelos animais.

Hostel maravilhoso e agradável

Lugar maravilhoso! O Marcelo é um ótimo anfitrião, sempre muito simpático e disposto a nos ajudar em qualquer dúvida. A suíte é maravilhosa, cama confortável, wi-fi funcionando bem, chuveiro ok, banheiro impecável e local extremamente limpo e organizado, além de transmitir uma vibe de tranquilidade surreal. Durante a noite é tudo bem silencioso, o que deixa a experiência mais incrível. Café da manhã incrível com opções variadas de pães, frutas e suco natural delicioso. A localização, além de um pouco longe, não é de difícil acesso como as pessoas imaginam. Com certeza vale a pena aproveitar e retornar mais vezes.

O fato de não ter uma TV no quarto gera um pouco de estranhamento no início, mas isso logo acaba quando se tem uma sala de estar enorme com uma smartv grande que é compartilhada entre os hóspedes. No entanto, nenhum ponto negativo.

Que prazer me hospedar nesse imóvel! Um lugar encantador, bem cuidado, limpo, arborizado e com uma energia incrível. Fui com uma amiga e fomos muito bem acolhidas no espaço. O espaço da piscina é uma delícia! Com certeza voltarei outras vezes!

Muy lindo lugar, en el medio de la naturaleza. Un poco alejado de todo. desayuno pobre.

La casa, la vista a la selva, el sonido de los pájaros, el tamaño de la habitación y la persona (no recuerdo el nombre, lamentablemente) que me recibió y me dió concejos para el paseo.

Si bien el desayuno estaba incluido, me pareció bastante pobre/miserable, con las fetas contadas (1 feta tanto de frutas, como de queso y fiambre), tambien con limitado café (si repetías, le dejabas si café a otros huéspedes) y con muy poca variedad. Si bien no fue determinante en mi estadía, que estuvo muy buena, fue un poco shockeante ver una feta de queso cortada en 2 y una sola porción de fruta, ya cortada. Si bien el barrio de Santa Teresa, donde queda ubicado el B&B, es realmente hermoso, queda muy lejos de todo (incluyendo supermercados). Si no se tiene transporte propio, todo se vuelve complicado y cuesta arriba.

Local tranquilo em Santa Teresa

Casa limpa, bonita e tranquila, para quem objetiva tranquilidade, sossego e contato com a natureza.

Pontos que poderiam melhorar: investir numa televisão para os quartos com cama de casal; disponibilizar formas de gelos na geladeira, uma sanduicheira para fazer misto e requeijão. Também recomendo que façam uma placa/pintura para identificar melhor a pousada na rua, pois quando cheguei eu só soube porque tinha pessoas saindo do local e perguntei.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. Les espaces communs sont très agréables et le propriétaire adorable ! Très bon accueil.

Le petit déjeuner était super, il manquerait plus que juste un peu de confiture. Mais cela n’était pas gênant et notre séjour était parfait!

Quarto e banheiro espaçosos. com ótimo espelho e tem rede para descanso, além de boa coberta (estava um pouco frio). Café da manhã é simples, mas muito gostoso. Marcelo é ótimo anfitrião e explica muito bem sobre a pousada. Uma vista linda, que ainda teve a participação de micos pegando frutinhas nas árvores.

O acesso no primeiro dia foi um pouco complicado, vindo de uber do aeroporto. O motorista causou alguns transtornos, e em outros momentos outros motoristas não queriam ir. O local é seguro e não causa nenhum transtorno, mas as redondezas impedem um pouco o acesso.

O Marcelo me acionou antes deu chegar no Rio, com muita gentileza explicou certinho a melhor maneira de ir de Uber até o local, se colocou a disposição caso eu precisasse da ajuda dele durante toda a chegada. Chegamos bem, fomos extremamente bem recebidos, ele nos mostrou tudo além da nossa acomodação, foi um querido com meu filho que adora brincar com tudo risos. O quarto estava ótimo, roupa de cama limpinha e cheirosa, a casa uma delícia! Mas a surpresa mais gostosa foi o café da manhã. Não ouvimos ninguém colocando a mesa, que estava linda quando acordei. Muitas opções de pães, tudo na medida, sem desperdício, o café certinho pra passar (só apertei o botão e pronto). Amei mesmo, indiquei para minha família e amigos, com certeza retornarei com ele nas próximas idas ao Rio. Um querido! Muito obrigada por tudo e até breve.
