Not worth it. A good property let down by poor management.
The only good thing is the location.
No Value for money. The support team is very bad. I had a heating issue at the start of my apartment. Very bad experience. I left my stay in the middle of it because I couldn’t stay in it.

Fantastic location. Local cafe, pub and shop are all great.
The beds are not doubles, but maybe queen size. So it's pretty cramped for 2 adults. The rooms are also pretty small.
The flooring on the living room is on a slope. Never been anywhere like this.

Rooms bright and airy. Lots of toiletries and cleaning chemicals in cupboards.Everything we used worked. Kettle, microwave, fridge, showers, lights, television.
Entrance hall musty, dark and unwelcoming. Some minor damage, see photos. Cooker could have been cleaned better. Food debris between cooker and worktop. Hair dryer overheated.

Average stay, not really worth the money mainly due to tiredness of the property and location.
Nice big rooms and high ceilings in the property. Quiet location near a park. Comfy seating in the living room. Nice shower/ bathrooms.
Location wasn't anywhere as near to the city centre as I was expecting. We had to use taxis to get everywhere which wasn't ideal. very tired decor and carpets. Cleanliness was passable but really needs a good deep clean. the corridor into the property was dark, dingy and dirty.

The lock box was so low that you almost had to get on your hands and knees to see it. Difficult to open for us seniors. The rooms all seemed to be on a slant.

Entrance hallway into the apartments was very dark and lighting not always working. Difficulty experienced with the apartment keys, opening and locking the apartment door was tricky.

FYI The parking outside is pay and display 8.30-5.30 with a max 6 hour stay. Many cafes nearby, and a Sainsbury's & Co-Op within a 7 minute walk.
Small issues only: It took repeated tries to get the locks on the flat to open with the keys each time. The old lock in particular was wobbly. The kitchen had been incompletely cleaned on arrival (stovetop spatter, greasy cutlery in drawer).
Lots of room and value for money. Best cafe next door!
Pillows super flat. Saw this in reviews before and thought this would have been addressed as an easy and inexpensive change. Had issues with hot water as cut out from time to time. Owners were happy to get someone in whilst we were there, but we weren’t staying long and happy to keep re-starting it and this could then be addressed when we moved out.

location not worth the hassle for this property that is run down and mis-managed, find something else.

- not enough cutlery
- staff were rude and difficult to work with for any issue.
- staff forced me to go offsite from booking.com to enter personal details including my ID and credit card into their own site. They threatened to cancel my booking if I didn’t comply. I use booking.com to remain in web-safe environments. if I had more time I would have cancelled on principal!!!

Excellent location, only 15 - 20 minute lovely walk to the centre. Apartment was spacious & generally very clean but did need a little airing which we were able to do as lovely weather.
Only one pillow per person!!! I had contacted host prior to our visit as many had complained about this before, I was assured there would be plenty of pillows but unfortunately not.
Key box is at very bottom of door so very awkward to retrieve keys, we had to get down on hands & knees, luckily it was dry!!!

Surely these issues would be easily rectified to give the property a top rating!

1. £175 Deposit hold for 5-7 days which is long period of time.
2. Not that easy as the key is to stiff too open. It’s take me half hour to find / open the key. Inside the flat , all the door handle are not working properly, must be careful , better not to touch it.

Property is easily reached and in walking distance to the town.
The pillows are extremely poor , thin and flat, best to take your own.
The flat was nice in a really nice area but tidying up/cleaning and sanitising from previous guests should be better.
The floor is all off the level in the lounge kitchen area, not a big deal but the sockets are so close to the ground it's hard to plug items in to allow use without forcing or damaging cables.
We found kids toys under the cushions in the lounge and behind the beds and in-between furniture found rubbish.

The property was very clean and nice. It's very nice and safe place to stay. Close to the town and only within walking distance. Staff was very helpfull over the phone. I did paid £175 deposit and get back three days after check out.
Over all whole the experience was good, will recommended.
The only down side, we couldnt open the windows as they are old fassion, hard to open.

An excellent choice if you like filth, dust and bad service
Well, our five year old found the crooked floors hilarious, that's something I guess. He said it was like being on a boat. He also likes the gigant cobwebs in the stairs leading up to the apartment, since he thinks spiders are the best thing ever.
There was also a lovely view, even if the dirty windows made it kind of hard to see it.
Oh, and the pictures and videoes we took of all the dirt and grime and sent to our friends staying at hotels gave them all something to laugh about.
Ah, where to start.
The pictures of this place are so flattering it's almost impressive.
We collected a broken key from a lockbox outside a run down front door, and entered a poorly lit hallway with stairs leading up to the apartment. Probably a good idea to keep it dark, because the place was creepy and dirty.
Once inside the apartment, the first thing we encountered was the smell of stirfry, a pungent strong odor coming from the kitchen.
As we explored the place, we found various lovely elements. The entire place is _worn down_. Crooked, creaky and just worn down in general. Wonky old place can have their charms by all means, but this little place was sadly not charming at all. It was however, filthy. And I do mean FILTHY. The shower had long black hairs on the wall, everything was covered in dust, kitchen towel and rugs in the bathrooms were mouldy, the windows had sticky prints all over and the kitchen was covered in grease and grime.
The freezer was also filled with old food, and the sink in one bathroom was clogged.
I called the company right away, literaly crying over how nasty things were. They asked me to send pictures so that they could check with the cleaners (who were by the way kind enough to leave an empty water bottle by the bed) and get back to me.
This marked the start of three days of various excuses, ranging from "Your caseworker is on a break/has her day off" to "We need more pictures". Right before we checked out, the final email came, stating that what I had photographed was "wear and tear".
An uncomfortable bed in a dirty apartment, accompanied by non-exsistent service from an overseas call center.
In conclusion; our stay makes for a good laugh and a funny story, but that's about it.
I will avoid Pass The Property with a passion for all of my future travels.

Liked the facilities at the property. Liked the ease of the booking and contact with the property owners. Liked the way it was exactly as described on-line, no hidden surprises.
The front door lock took some getting used to, but managed it in the end. Possibly the pillows could have been a little bit plumper. Unable to master the TV controls.

The location was absolutely amazing. We were through for a show at the Usher Hall and it was handy for so many things. The view of the Meadows was amazing

The property was in the student district of Edinburgh close to the university. The initial impression of the entrance wasn’t great, but once inside the apartment was well furnished and spacious. There were some nice touches such as tea and coffee and condiments/spices. Both bathrooms were luxurious and the whole apartment was nicely decorated.
All smoke alarms were missing. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner and more pillows would have been nice.

Bonita, confortável e ótima localização
Quartos espaçosos, camas confortáveis, cozinha completa, banheiros e chuveiros muito bons. Tem secador. Ótima localização, perto do centro, passando por um parque bem bonito para caminhar. A casa bem silenciosa para dormir. Estávamos em 5 pessoas e ficamos muito confortaveis. Com certeza recomendo!

La saleté de l'appartement. Le réfrigérateur n'était pas nettoyé. Du coca avait coulé dans les compartiments. L'aspirateur n'est jamais passé sous le canapé. Il ne fallait surtout pas le déplacer d'un centimètre sous peine de voir plus de détritus...

Estancia muy agradable
Nos gustó mucho su ubicación, en apenas 20 minutos estabas en el centro de Edimburgo. La amplitud de las habitaciones era genial y la calefacción era una maravilla, ya que mantenía el apartamento caliente a gusto de cada uno. También nos gustó un montón que la cocina tuviese cinco fuegos y un horno bastante grande. Al igual que tener un lavavajillas con material de limpieza abundante. Fue muy fácil encontrar el apartamento con las instrucciones que nos dieron y los responsables del apartamento fueron muy atentos con todos los pequeños problemas que nos surgieron a lo largo de nuestra estancia.
Lo que menos nos gustó, fue la poca cantidad de agua caliente que había, ya que fuimos seis personas y no nos pudimos duchar más de cuatro debido a que el agua ya salía fría.
