The location of the property was fantastic for visiting all the main sights of Edinburgh on foot. When needed, bus links were great and everything you could possibly need was very close at hand. We found some wonderful quirky places to eat and hang out in the area. The property was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Our hosts were friendly and communication was excellent.

The owners were great in their communication and availability to help. The location was super. Loads of nearby places to eat and drink at. 15min walk to the town center and 20min to the station give or take. Nice bright place. The kitchen was spacious. Nice living room and bedrooms. Having 2 loos was a plus for a family of 5. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need. 2 double beds and 2 single beds clean sheets and towels were provided.
The pillows weren't very comfortable too flat. Maybe upgrade to memory foam. No toilet brushes in the loos and downstairs toilet needed a bin and towel hook for the shower. Great water pressure downstairs but not so great in the upstairs shower. Bedrooms needed bins too. The living room could have done with 1 more arm chair. WiFi was spotty but when it worked it did the job a better router would solve that issue. Take hangers for the cupboard none were provided. Also soap for the toilets.

Location is perfect. You can get to all main attractions by public transport or by walking. A lot of grocery stores and pubs nearby.

We consider that the best of the apartment is the location. The kitchen is well-equipped although we didn't use it much. There wasn't any noise coming from other apartments.
We consider that for an apartment for 6 people just one bathroom (and no other toilet facilities) is not enough. In fact, the lock of the bathroom's door blocks and it can't be opened from inside, just from the outside corridor (some of us got trapped inside for a while). There is no lift and going up stairs is necessary to access the apartment. There was noise coming from the street (cars, ambulances...) at night in the bedrooms that were on the street's façade.
