Ossians

Great staff and location, comfy beds and the free cornflakes and coffee/tea in the morning was a nice surprise. We only stayed one night and didn't really get to use it, but there is a lounge where you can bring your own food or hang out and play boardgames. Also the opportunity to leave our bags at the reception before checking in and after checking out was much appreciated!

The bathroom design is a bit impractical. When you shower, the whole bathroom floor gets wet due to a curved curtain rod that also encompasses the way from the door to the toilet.

The staff were so lovely and friendly, the room was really nice and well presented despite being basic and even had a few things I hadn’t expected, like a microwave. A really good choice for anyone on a hiking trip.

We didn't book breakfast but there is free cereals and milk available which is a lovely touch, and you could bring in food like pizza and eat it in the dining\bar area, which was open until 10pm. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, modern very comfy and well equipped for a budget hotel. Location was fantastic. You couldn't get closer to the centre, and you could drop off your bags at the back entrance before parking in the free overnight car park a few hundred yards away. All in all, we would thoroughly recommend Ossians.
