Enjoyed our stay at Blacksheep Bunkhouse and host Sam welcomed us on our arrival

We liked the property very much, though the bathroom was small, but otherwise with common kitchen, which was clean and nice, property was well maintained by host Sam, who was a kind and very hospitable.

Washbasin was too small, but since we took the small room, it was ok.

It has been a lovely short stay. I make good use of the facility. The owner is welcoming and helpful

The facility is bicycle friendly and have throughtful inclusion. There is secure bike storage available, it is advisable to request during booking as space maybe limited. It has a communal kitchen for cooking and a dry room to dry out washed clothes. These are all very thoughtful for touring cyclists. The place is new and quiet and have a view over the bay.

The floor in the corridor is noisy, have to be careful not wake up fellow guest at night. The internet is a bit slow. I would recommend to put a password over it as it seems to be used up by free-loader.

Wonderful!

Very comfortable rooms, fully equipped kitchen and even a common area with Netflix. They do laundry at a reasonable cost, let us leave our bags before check in, were very accommodating and allowed us to check in a bit earlier, all which was excellent! Stunning views of the loch and town from our window.

Good for short stay

Upon arrivale we were welcomed by the friendly host and accompanied to our room (just 1 of 3). The room was small but clean and bright. The bathroom was small, too, but clean and functional. There is a communal kitchen with basic equipment. In front of the bunkhouse, there's a picknick table with evening sun - great for having dinner outside. The host was easily reachable via phone/WhatsApp and reacted promptly to our request.

Our room was right next to the TV room and the walls are paper thin, so we had the feeling of sitting right on the couch ourselves. The location is uphill from the city center, so factor that in.

A lovely little hostel with really comfy beds

Cheap hostel prices but lovely private rooms with a max of 6 people in the hostel at one time! The facilities are great, nice and warm, the kitchen was spotless, and the "snug" was great for a movie in the evening.

Perfect place to recharge

The guest house was near to city centre and very clean! I appreciated that the guest house has a communal kitchen that we could use and there was a table and bench outside where we could enjoy the view! Highly recommend!

Accommodation was wonderful - a beautiful place with a stunning view, spacious room with super comfy beds and a nice bathroom, everything was clean and nicely prepared for our arrival, and amazingly friendly staff.

It took us by surprise that it´s on a high street of a pretty steep hill but an exceptional view and beautiful accommodation were worth of way up.

Wonderful Guesthouse - everything you need for a perfect stay in Fort William

A warm, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The owner could not have been more helpful and attentive. It's clear he wants his guests to be well cared for and have a perfect stay. I am a digital nomad so wifi is very important to me and he offered options that made it easy to conduct my Zoom calls. It's very clean, modern/recently updated, has a GREAT view, a lovely terrace to enjoy, the kitchen is very well stocked which was welcoming since I don't have a car and it's a little walk to town. But the trade-off is that it's super peaceful, nestled on the hillside overlooking the loch, and feels very homey. I highly recommend this guesthouse. High attention to details so nothing is lacking. Lovely stay. Thank you!

Looks very close to the centre on google map, which is true - like 10-15minutes walk but after a long day of walking, didn't realise the place is up the hill which was quite tiring to walk to. The room is clean and tidy but feel a little bit overpriced for the service provided. Also it's self-catering. But overall quite good.
