The hotel was charming, the location was excellent and the staff were lovely
Could have been cleaner. But not in any of the important areas, the bedding and towels were clean, the bathroom facilities were clean.

The location is good, that's all.
The poor condition of the accomodation, it was dirty and cold. The carpets are disgusting, kettle covered in dust, coffee tray at breakfast was filthy, walls and ceiling cobwebby. Checked in at 3pm (December) to find that the heating was on a timer and our room was cold, noone knew when the heating would come on - the host did get a small portable heater in the meantime.
Curtains and met curtain were undersize to the window leaving gaps.
