Really welcoming
The b&b was extremely welcoming and comfortable and the food was excellent, all homemade and locally sourced. The location was perfect if you enjoy walking or cycling . Lustleigh , 2 miles away on the trail was stunning.

Slightly dated property in a super location with a very warm welcome.
We would have preferred a full English but the breakfast we did have was a very nice change.
The property could do with an update to its decor. However, it was very clean and tidy.

Overall, our stay was good.
Breakfast was as expected and my gluten free diet was catered for very well. We believe we got what we paid for. Our host and hostess were very helpful. In fact Kevin would have been very willing to return my phone charger which I had left behind. As it turned out, this proved to be not necessary.
We're very sorry to have to say this, but we could have done with having a quiet breakfast. We are not particularly morning people, so we found Michelle's chat a bit too overpowering. We think this could be improved by just leaving us to eat without talking to us the whole way through breakfast. The second morning was better as there were more guests.

Very beautiful location, friendly and helpful hosts, lovely jam, great value for money.
Breakfast was very good and hosts provided gluten free bread. Nice fresh fruit and great jam.
My only quibble is that we were given one small slice of toast each at breakfast. We weren't asked if we'd like another, which made me feel a little uncomfortable having to ask. The coffee in the room was just awful. My husband says the tea was too, though he did drink his.
