    This very comfortable hotel is the perfect place for friends to meet. Beautiful grounds and peaceful setting.

    Needing a break and not wanting to travel too fare or spend an exorbitant room rate like that of other Hotels on the Moors, we choose The Moorland Haytor. And boy were we inpressed, it's the little touches of Classic FM on, a pillow spray, iron ,a fancy Dyson hairdryer a quality well stocked up beverage draw and the games in the room that make the stay feel extra special. There are so many other plus points but I'll leave with this is a 100% return and a presant purchase for someone you love. R205

    I came after a long hike before another the next day. I booked last minute and it was a bargain. Hotel is beautiful breakfast is tasty. There’s lots of wonderful walks nearby.

    This is a wonderful location, spotlessly clean , beautifully decorated hotel. The food was excellent. Let down only by one member of staff being a tad on the grumpy side.
