I came after a long hike before another the next day. I booked last minute and it was a bargain. Hotel is beautiful breakfast is tasty. There’s lots of wonderful walks nearby.

This is a wonderful location, spotlessly clean , beautifully decorated hotel.
The food was excellent.
Let down only by one member of staff being a tad on the grumpy side.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at the Moorland Hotel. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that really make the experience special. The staff were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure everything was just right for us.
A special mention to the lady serving breakfast, who was particularly welcoming and helpful, making the start of our day even more enjoyable.
The overall atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a lovely location.
