Bed was uncomfortable but we couldn't fault the view of the river dart.

Beautiful location by the river, close to Buckfast Abbey and the South Devon Railway.
Staff all very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was great, and the beds were very comfortable.
A bit of signage to point you in the right direction to rooms might be helpful.
Moorhen room was very warm (possibly gets the sun for most of the day), but there was a fan provided.
Extractor fan in the room was particularly noisy, it did stop eventually and certainly didn’t disturb our sleep in the end.

Location
Room above kitchen extractor fan, noisy & smell. Lights outside left on 24/7 so lit room all night.
Plug in sink didn’t hold water, had to refill sink 6 times to have a wash, general lack of hanging in bathroom and small space to move around. Breakfast overcooked and items missing most days, limited availability.
