Great location in the countryside
Needed to drive back into the village fir dinner; no fault of the owner but the council had just closed the bridge between there and the gorge making it a long way round - worse for them of course as landowners.

Slightly tricky to find but we were v late and it was dark

Welcoming host, very homely stay. Great room, had everything needed, large bathroom. Vast breakfast choice. Extremely good value and absolutely perfect if you want a quiet location and peaceful break. Stayed when it was 30 degrees but room was still fine with a large fan provided and a garden area complete with family dog. Just a mile walk to excellent pub and lydford Gorges' beautiful walks.
Nothing we didn't like. Suited us perfectly as a base for exploring from.
