    Room was huge, clean and quiet. Fish and chips plus truffles were outstanding and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Gardens were perfect to sit with a glass of wine and the breakfast hamper was generous and just such a lovely touch. Previous night there 12 x 30 year olds staying for a golf weekend and they loved it . Highly recommend

    the bears lake Inn is a charming quirky cosy place to stay and visit. with delicious food available at a reasonable price. the staff were very welcoming and helpful .Will definitely be going back! thank you

    Need your credit card for any damage? What.....?. Table service was poor, room was cleanish food, mains were nice but puddings were disgusting (cheesecake was a slop, cheese board was a atrocious cheese poor quality grapes were brown) service was poor had to wait far too long between courses. Finally had coke poured over me from waiter no reduction for poor service and replacement coke. Room wasn't clean. Stool unsafe but took credit card for wages. Photos available.
