The staff, the food, the food and the staff. Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The (Warren’s Butchers) steak was superb, as was breakfast.

Perfect location for visiting the in Laws. Even more delightful and picturesque than expected . Instant friendliness,welcoming and efficiency Booking in, Staff were all very pleasant enjoyed drinks before having stunningly lovely Steak meal which being cooked on fire in front of Bar so impressive. Room was good, night was peaceful , all very Happy. Would happily stay there again Thank you.

Location just a bit tooooo close to the Mother in Law

Pleasing location on Dartmoor. The staff were pleasant and the room was clean.

The private bathroom was not en suite, the lock was broken and someone else’s towel had been left inside. To be fair we were offered a different smaller room with en suite which we later regretted turning down. The room itself had nowhere to store clothes so we lived out of suitcases for 3 days. There was no hair dryer, TV or radio. The towels were very small and thin. Breakfast was only served between 9.30 & 10.30 and was not included in the price.
