The Bickford Arms Inn

They stay was warm and friendly only thing was breakfast needs more attention to detail. Like milk being in proper jugs , toast not being made and buttered in kitchen simple things like better laying out of stuff. All other meals great breakfast lets it down a bit but new owners so time will develop

Room was fine so was property

Breakfast was poor quality which was disappointing and had limited options for continental if you didn't want a cooked breakfast. Beds were very old and uncomfortable. Depending on where you sleep, it can be very noisy with the window open due to the traffic. A few minor touches to the room in terms of hand soap from a pump dispenser rather than unhygienic bars of soap. Had to ask for towels and toilet rolls from the onset. This should have already been in the room. Price was reasonable to stay there. It's bearable for one night as a stopover.
