Breakfasts were excellent. Freshly cooked and local ingredients. Evening meals also good but portions too big for us!
Location is perfect for exploring north Dartmoor. Easy, pleasant walk through the Taw gorge to Sticklepath and the Finch Foundry (NT) - an operational water powered smithy.
Room could have been cleaner. We found a discarded water bottle (the drinking sort!) under the bed.
The tea/coffee provided in the room was just enough for our 3 nights but it would have been nice to have it replenished during our stay. To be fair though we didn't ask for extra.

Breakfast good,Location fair,Would have likes busroute a little closer.
We did not like the mattress which was soft also did not like the pillows.We struggled with the amount of stairs to room,Age related probably.
