The Tavistock Hotel & Inn

The room was clean and comfortable, the shower nice and strong and the coffee making facilities great as a pod machine instead of instant. The staff were friendly and polite. The food was delicious, My evening meal (Spicy prawns and chips) was a decent amount and reasonably priced. The breakfast was amazing, full English was really good and the sausages were exceptional.

Wi-Fi was not the best but usable.

Helpful friendly staff, but lots of sweary customers

This pub has no right to claim parking on its website. It has none.There is a municiple car park next door. This is locked at 8pm by the local Coop employee and opened at 7am by the same person. You needto get there before the Traffic Warden if you are long stay. Tickets have to be bought daily and before his arrival, I was caught at 9.02am. When I queried this with the pub landlord I was told 'nothing to do with us' and he had no idea of how the parking fiasco operated. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

The room was spotless and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good.

We couldn’t get the tv to work and it was not fixed after we told them. Whilst it’s a personal preference, I think having GB news on the tv during breakfast is risky because it has a political position which is not ours, so we won’t return.
