We loved our stay

A characterful 16th century cottage that has been expertly renovated into a very comfortable home from home. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable, & there’s lots to see in the surrounding area. We loved our 3-night stay.

What a fabulous place to stay.

Great cottage and a beautiful garden in a lovely setting. So peaceful. Owner has thought about so many lovely little touches, left bread, butter and milk etc, washing up liquid and cleaning bits, all different things in the kitchen. Went as 2 couples and we had a fantastic time travelled up to ilfracombe, Tintagel, Boscastle and The Jamaica Inn thank you Linda 😊

The house was amazing, welcome pack included freshly baked bread, everything you would need had been thought of, nothing to much trouble for the lovely hosts Linda and Kevin.

A wonderful stay

This location is great and authentic. The mill is from 1600 and has a lot of character. Kevin and Linda are very friendly and their service makes you feel very welcome. Sitting next to the river is fantastic and their garden is amazing.

Having a dinner in the evening is a challenge, not when you have a car, but on a bike or motorbike you have to drive at least 4 miles to find a restaurant or pub. The taxi however was not very expensive.

Excellent breakfast with homemade bread and jam as well as a full English and fresh fruit. The hosts are lovely people, and the room was great with a super bathroom and extra long bath, what a joy!

Excellent stay! Would definitely recommend!

Both Linda and Kevin were very friendly and accommodating. Felt really welcomed. Location and gardens were the best feature, as plenty of places around to visit and explore, as well as gardens were perfect to chill out in after a long day or even in the morning, with Kevin and Linda making sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay.

Found single beds a bit too narrow but, given the type of building and room, they were good enough and allowing space to move around the room freely.

The Old Mill is run by a lovely couple, so friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were just beautiful and the situation gorgeous. Breakfast was wonderful!

We had very unseasonably warm weather so perhaps a fan would be great if needed.

Relaxing, Value for money, a welcoming place to stay

This was a lovely B&B set in a rural setting, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly, l would recommend this B&B to anyone who likes a relaxing break, in a country setting. The breakfast was lovely, homemade bread and a choice of hot and cold food. The room was very clean, with a good choice of teas, coffees, and hot chocolate. l have told family and friends all about it.

I could not find fault with anything, and l would stay there again if l am in the area
