Central , friendly ,comfortable
It was a bit warm for me but we couldn’t operate the catch to open the window in the front rooms .

The location was great. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was fine. The room was spotless and very comfortable.
It's a very dog friendly pub - which is OK; but I wasn't too keen on the dog in the food preparation areas.

Close to walking areas of Dartmoor Warm and friendly atmosphere Nice to see “the locals” were on first name terms with the owners.
Pub closes at 7:30 we had been out all day and had to find alternative location for dinner which then added to our additional spendature. The full English had tasted like it had been heated up, coffee from a machine not filtered. Tv in an awkward location for the bedroom, superior bedroom had what we needed but the decor was dated and had cracks in the wall. The hot water tap on the bath was wobbly, single glazed windows drew in a chill during the night and we could hear external noise quite clearly. Bed wasn’t very comfy.
