Location was good. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was good. Beer was ok.

Great place to stay but a little out of the way. Staff were excellent and went the extra mile to cook a meal from scratch they had run out of. Well worth the wait. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked and very good value for money. Our room was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities you could ever need. All members of staff were extra friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Well done!
If we had one criticism it would be no aircon in the room. However we were staying during the recent heatwave and it was exceptional circumstances. For what we paid we really couldn't complain. If you cannot sleep when the room is too hot then this is probably not the property for you.

This is a great pub with great food, but definitely a poor stay.
Facilities were a bit tired around the edges. Staff didn’t seem to take it very seriously when they came into my room whilst I was there 😱 Caused me great anxiety as a single traveller. No way of securing the room as just a basic night latch door lock. Neighbouring room occupant also spent most of the night screaming, so probably one of the worst nights I’ve spent in a long time.
