Yalo is a wonderful experience.

The hotel was intimate and the staff was great. Having the restaurant downstairs was also great food and convenient. A great vibe! Also would like to give a shoutout to Koster and Ashley in their be restaurant. They were super friendly and did were very efficient in their job.

Perfect

Yalo is one of the easiest hotels to evaluate, because it is simply exceptional in every criteria, from start to end. This was my third stay and by far the best. All the staff are friendly, with quick resolution to any problem - especially Mrs. Büsra, who was extra kind to us from the get-go. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Their breakfast is to die for.

The gym ought to be bigger and better equipped. It is the only setback in the whole Yalo experience.

Boutique hotel, centrally located. Highly recommend.

The common areas are fantastic, the rooms are very comfortable. Delicious food, bountiful breakfast. Parking garage is tight with limited spaces. Remember to check out the roof garden for drinks and food.

Hotel presented very well good staff small pop up shop in the lobby was good rooms were clean and modern as was all the facilities good bar area with comfortable relaxing furniture

We paid for the hotel in full upfront with card details logged but they still required £250 security deposit payment on arrival this was the only hotel that wanted this during our travels they did refund this a couple of days later property was very nice I would stay again

I would recommend definately this accommodation

We loved our stay at Yalo Urban Boutique! It was everything promised. We also ate in the restaurant which didn’t disappoint.

The only thing I would suggest is to improve the pillows. Lots of one way street to navigate & parking was a challenge, but it was worth it once we got there.

Local conference with a splash of sightseeing

Located in walking distance to the historic center it's a vibrant and beautiful and functional hotel. The restaurant is one of the best in town, and along with the bar has a lot of natural light from its glass ceiling. Also there is a rooftop bar where there is a nice view to the skyline of Gent. The room is very nice, minimalist decorated, with comfy bed and a nice Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules and bottled water in the fridge. It will be my first choice when I'll be back in Gent.

Good option for a short stay

The hotel boasts an excellent restaurant that clearly attracts not only hotel guests but also locals – a great sign. Breakfast was generous and varied. It's very well located for those arriving by car: central, yet with easy access and convenient parking. The rooms were decent, and the addition of a record player was a charming touch.

On the downside, the rooms could use a bit more attention in terms of maintenance. Unfortunately, we had to switch rooms late at night after returning from dinner due to a lack of hot water pressure. While the staff responded quickly and gave us a new room, this situation could have been avoided. Overall, a good stay with a few hiccups – the strong dining experience and location were definite highlights.

The coolest place to stay in Gent

Excellent hotel: modern and great accommodations. Very clean and comfortable, the size of the room is amazing, probably the largest room in my trips to Europe ever!

The only negative point is the lack of a door in the bath box: it’s impossible to bath without flooding the bathroom. But this is minor compared with the confort of the bedroom!

2nd stay here, always excellent, will definitely be back

- Location is excellent, within walking distance from the centre and easy to drive to from the E40 - Rooms are modern and clean, really nice artistic touches and the shower isexcellent - Restaurant/bar is a really nice place to sit for a few drinks - Hotel staff are really friendly and helpful

- Breakfast is very good, but is €29 per person. There are cheaper options nearby if you don't want to pay it - Some double rooms are considerably bigger than others, so something to bear in mind when travelling with a baby needing a cot - Parking is €30/day (but then is in a city centre so fair enough - just to be aware of)

Amazing place, would certainly choose again if visiting Ghent!

The room was very comfortable. Location is right on the edge of the town, easy walking distance to all landmarks but also quiet. The bar downstairs is beautiful. Hotel sent instructions with instructions regarding parking and low emissions zone.

1. I missed electric charging spots in the hotel parking, which led me to park outside the hotel 2. It was not clear at the time of booking that a security deposit was required, which caused a bit of confusion, but the staff made up for this with prompt and frequent communication 3. While the breakfast was lovely and tasted nice, for 20 Euros per head, I have had better breakfast spreads , especially concerning the choice of items. Not complaining but this could be better

It was close to the center, modern and clean with a nice bar.

They made a reservation on my CC for 250 euro although we stayed ONE night. Breakfast was not great and it was very cold in the restaurant. All in all not worth the money.

Great location, parking on site too which was secure and complimentary to us. The bar/restaurant inside is really nice and the buffet breakfast, well, spoilt for choice and such good value at €20! The pastries were unreal 👌. Rooftop bar was great too. Definitely highly recommended hotel to stay in. The staff from arriving to leaving were excellent.

Marvelous hotel on a great location

The hotel is very fresh and stylish. Free water, downstairs is a lovely bar & restaurant and a rooftop bar with a very nice view, a must visit. The rooms are quiet. Great location, 5 minutes walk from main sites. Room is big enough, but do not have a lot of storage space for clothes (there is a small open hanger near the entrance and no closet). Large bed, but I personally found it too soft and pillows too high and large. A perfect boutique hotel for a short stay/mid week.
