Great place to stay in the heart of Gent

Great location just off one of the main squares - quiet but central. The room was clean, bed comfy. A decent sized bathroom with excellent shower. The staff we met were very pleasant and helpful. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it was soooo expensive (£25 per person) - but there are plenty of places to eat nearby at very reasonable prices e.g. LLoyds.

Our room was on the ground floor right next to the canal and felt very cold even though the thermostat read 20C. When we mentioned it to the staff they brought us a heater straight away which improved things. Another small issue, the toilet was a bit cramped considering the size of the bathroom. Also, there were building works going on next door which spoilt the look of the area a bit, but we didn't notice much noise so not too bad.

Welcoming staff, early luggage drop off, comfy bed and super clean, modern bathroom facilities. Lovely view of the river and central but quiet location.

The hair dryer didn’t work.

Comfortable staying near to everything

It is very nice hotel, both facilities and location in very center. Big bathroom, mini refrigerator, AC, comfortable beds.

The quiet location, clean, friendly and helpful. Close to a local brewery. With the A/C not working hotel wide on the hottest week ever, we were offered a free, fantastic buffet breakfast on the gorgeous rooftop and of course a stand fan to oscillate the air, which was greatly appreciated.

The A/C was broken, apparently ‘getting fixed’ for quite some time, on the hottest week in Ghent’s recent history.

Great location but housekeeping/service to be improved

Location was great - very early morning staff Saturday super helpful with coffee and transport advice

Air cond not working and coffee at front desk not available. Beds not made well from arrival to departure (sheets came loose easily). Room not cleaned overnight. Garbage not emptied.

Good location near the historic center.

The location was very good with the major attractions within 15 minutes walk.

The train station is rather far from the old town, making it a long walk. It is necessary to take a taxi, which is rather expensive. Not the fault of the hotel though. Just be warned.

Large room well equipped. Great location to old town centre. Was hoping for canal view which would be lovely but ground floor room no view and workmen passing.

Big demolition of property right next door throwing dust onto ground floor outdoor seating which was a little disappointing, appreciate not hotels fault and noise from diggers.

La ubicación, con párking cerca, en la plaza.

Problema de limpieza con el baño: olor a tabaco y suelo pegajoso. Lo dijimos en recepción y fregaron el baño otra vez y echaron ambientador, pero el ambientador sobre suelo mojado seguía siendo muy pegajoso. Y el olor a tabaco no se fue.

Centrale ligging en goed ontbijt zonder eigen parkeergarage

We hadden twee aparte eenpersoonsbedden geboekt, maar kregen helaas een queensize bed. Jammer! De badkamer was wel schoon en redelijk ruim. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was goed en uitgebreid. Het hotel heeft geen eigen parkeergarage, maar de ligging is écht perfect—midden in het centrum van Gent!

De kamer was klein en lag op de begane grond, met ramen aan de straatkant, waardoor er behoorlijk wat geluid binnenkwam.

El hotel en general está bien para una o dos noches. El desayuno buffet muy bueno si ya lo incluyes en tu reserva. El tema de la construcción que está al lado y sus ruidos, el hotel no tiene la culpa y no fue problema para nosotros
