Great location and breakfast but bring ear plugs

I loved the location of the hotel and the breakfast.

Our room was not well sound proofed. Everytime someone walked past our room it woke us. (There were floorboards not carpet.) There was also a loud argument going on in the back alley below on and off during our stay. It wasn’t a peaceful sleep.

I cannot say enough good things about this property, the staff from the moment we got inside were very helpful and gave many suggestions on things to do locally. The location and views were incredible and we added the breakfast on which I am so glad because it was delicious.

Ghent is a lovely city to spend a couple of days in and the Hotel Harmony was excellent.

The hotel is in an excellent postion overlooking the river and very central to all the attractions of Ghent. The staff were extremely friendly and the receptionists could not do enough for us to make our short break in Ghent so enjoyable.

On arrival we were not allocated the room we had booked through Booking.com overlooking the river and city. However this was rectified and we were given a lovely room, but at an extra charge. Do not think the room allocation was the fault of the hotel, but by Booking.com.

Best staff in Belgium!

Perfect location to walk around the center of Ghent, and a little further with a bike. The room was spacious to accommodate also our 2 little children. The breakfast was just perfect with a good buffet and a-la-carte options also available. The staff was superb.

Nothing worth noting and our stay was very good, so much so to exceed any expectations we had. If one really had to look for some drawbacks, certainly this property didn't come cheap and perhaps facilities could be slightly better for a 4-stars category in central Europe. Yet, nothing to bother with and again our stay was wonderful.

On the waterfront near the castle. Beautiful, spacious room with balcony and comfortable chairs. Helpful team at front desk. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Particularly liked Julie’s and vegan Epiphany . So much to see and do in Gent.

Very cute hotel in the centre of Gent, with lots of nice facilities and super friendly staff!

I really liked a lot about this hotel; the location, the view from the room, the room was very spacious, the bathroom had a lot of facilities, everything was very clean, and the main thing that sticks out for me was that the staff were super friendly and really helpful!

I think for one person it is quite expensive, but I knew this in advance of staying at the hotel so this is on me, there were no surprises. However, considering the overall experience, it can be worth the price for sure. Staying with two people is much more affordable.

Superb and stylish hotel

A superb hotel: wonderful location in the centre of Ghent overlooking the river. We had a brilliant room with a balcony and view of the river and across the roofs of the city. The staff could not have been more willing - they opened the swimming pool for us despite the surrounding decking being in the process of renewal. Excellent breakfast with plenty to choose from.
