Lovely host and room

Great location, 2 minute walk to the castle. Spacious yet unusual accommodation.

The location is superb, plenty of space, shower excellent. Very good value for money and the little dishwasher was useful. The parking was also an added bonus, underground and secure, close to the accommodation.

The layout is unusual, it didn’t bother us, but having the fridge in the bathroom and no sink in the kitchenette is unusual. However, it wouldn’t deter me from staying again as the pros far outweigh the cons.

Very Good Hospitality

It was a huge apartment with a wonderful host. It's in the city center and has parking. No vehicle taller than a VW Touareg jeep can fit. The apartment was cozy, and the toilet and bathroom were spotless. The coffee machine was enough to make our day enjoyable. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Ghent. Why not Christmas 2026? See you then.

Great spacious room in central Gent

Franky was very kind and responsive. Happy for us to store bikes in property. Location is quiet but very close to centre. Room was huge with plenty of space for a family.

If you want to visit the old town - this may be your choice

Very friendly owner! Only 5 min away from the historic town, parking can be a challenge (owner let me park my motorcycle in his garage). Room VERY spacious and clean, bathroom was clean.

Terrific location, right in the city heart! Awesome host - kind and supportive! Unique property with plenty of open space!

Separate bathroom from the main room was a bit unexpected, but it was a very good bathroom with washer/dryer!

Perfect place for a one night stay in Ghent.

Franky was an excellent host. He even allowed us to check in early which was much appreciated after a long journey. Free garage parking. Room is massive which comfortable beds, coffee maker and microwave Fridge and large bathroom (with decent shower!) next door.

Good value if a little unconventional.

The location is brilliant, you are just a few hundred metres.feom the castle and the historic centre. The price was good and because we got free car parking in the underground garage with the studio it was great value. The studio sleeps 7 people and has unusual architecture as it is part of a conversion from an office block. So, really good value for a large group of young people, but also was good value for a couple.

The WC shower room is separate from the studion in the hall, which is a bit disconcerting, for night trips to the loo, but worked out fine.

Thank you for the most quiet and comfortable accommodations, in beautiful Ghent.

The location was perfect and easy walk to the Old Town. It was a huge room, very quiet and had the facilities we required. Frankie , our host, was helpful on anything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable too.

Huge and cozy

The room was huge and cozy, you won't feel any cold even if it's that big. It's under the street level but it has a good light from outside. It has a big bathroom with washing machine and dryer, I didn't use them btw. You have a free park outside the building inside a private garage underground.

Be careful using the parking outside, it's very expensive if you stay for long. So plan you arrive with Franky so you can put the car in the garage.

the Host offered us coffee and was very kind & helpfull! the property was very big, the beds were very comfy, its perfect for groups that want to spend more time together because the living room & the beds are in one room. the location of the room is super close of the city and that makes it very nice, and the price for such a central accomodation you arent able to find something better!

Ideal room for a family or group visiting Ghent

A very large room with three double beds which could sleep up to six people. Lots of storage, large tv, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. The host Frankie was very helpful and friendly. Location is convenient five minutes walk into the old town. This is an ideal room for a family of budget conscious group of friends.

The room is a semi basement without any outside view. Ceilings are low and bathroom although large and private is reached by leaving the room.

Location and proximity to centre easily reachable. Free parking. Coffee machine/microwave/kettle in room. Toys for kids to play with. Pleasant host.

Difficult to find parking spot to begin with as not reachable without local knowledge. Toilet/shower separate to room (small inconvenience to walk out of room at night to use bathroom). Toilet was missing the toilet seat which was a bit surprising and caused some uncomfort. Bugs and flies in room and had to use the bug spray (no coincidence it was provided) to zap the flies at night.

Quiet yet close to all the action!

The apt was clean, comfortable and spacious! The bathroom was more than big enough! Lots of local reading materials, TV worked with bonus Netflix, excellent coffee machine, good size fridge and just a really amazing host! Parking garage available. Really loved this apt and its locaton and I would definitely try to stay there again!
