Excellent location for a lively visit to Ghent

Excellent location, near the historic centre with many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Bus and tram stops are also conveniently nearby. The host is very helpful and responsive.

This is a converted building, so 1) there are two flights of fairly steep stairs to the apartment and 2) there is not much insulation between floors so you hear the apartment above. Just things to be aware of but no problem if you are relatively fit and naturally stay up late.

Brilliantly located on a quiet road but very close to the centre. Above an excellent restaurant with a communicative host. Very much recommended.

We felt comfortable and cozy. There was tea, coffee, and water in the room. Two extra sofas and lots of free space. Coffee machine and cups, glasses, different wine glasses. And lots of cute little things.

Huoneen kuvauksessa oli 3 vuodetta mutta käytettävissä vain parisänky ja sekin vain yhdellä peitteellä. Portaat huoneistoon todella hankalat ja kapeat, kun yleensä mukana myös matkatavarat. Sisääntulo kadulta portaikkoon melko masentava. Suorana voi liikkua, vain alle 185 cm pitkät henkilöt.

Leuk appartement om Gent te verkennen

Ruim appartement dicht bij de vrijdagmarkt. Hier hebben we ook hele weekend kunnen parkeren. Prima van hieruit de stad te verkennen of om op de vlasmarkt een stapje te zetten. Heel netjes, vriendelijke host en veel privacy.

op sommige plaatsen is het laag plafond/balken en moet je opletten voor je hoofd. Wij waren niet zo groot en als je dat weet let je erop dus voor ons niet echt als negatief punt maar wel goed te weten.

Fast mittendrin und trotzdem ruhig

Sehr gute Lage, Innenstadt mit Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. Schlafzimmer nach hinten und daher sehr ruhig. Restaurants gut zu Fuß erreichbar, kleiner Nachtkiosk für den Schlummertrunk zum Mitnehmen um die Ecke. Toilette separat.

Eingang über Hinterhof und einige Treppen, gibt aber keinen Abzug, nur etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Waschbecken direkt im Schlafzimmer, aber Bad extra mit Türe.

De douche ruimte was krap en laag, er waren diverse balken zodat je steeds moest bukken. De slaapkamer is boven een restaurant keuken en rook niet fris. Het meubilair zat waardeloos.

Kein Frühstück, weil Appartement. Frühstück selbst gemacht. Inhaber war jederzeit da und ansprechbar.

Das Bad könnte (müsste) größer sein. Aber das war das einzige kleine Manko. Sehr schmaler und steiler Treppenaufgang. Nichts für Gäste, die zu Fuß nicht so gut sind. Sollte auf der Seite vielleicht vermerkt werden.

Practical and confortable apartment

La ubicación es perfecta. La cama de la habitación es muy cómoda. Las luces están muy bien pensadas. la cocina esta bien abastecida, incluidas copas de vino. Es la primera vez que un departamento de alquiler tiene buenas copas. El dueño nos llamo para avisarnos que podíamos entrar antes y eso se valora mucho. Al llegar el lugar estaba calentito en un día muy frío afuera lo que fue muy agradable.

El colchón del sofá cama necesita ser cambiado ya que dormir ahí resulta un poco incómodo. Las escaleras hay que tomarlas con cuidado porque son empinadas.
