Central location very spacious Plenty of tea and coffee in the cupboard

Not spotless but pretty clean

Location was excellent. Very close to the Royal Mile. It was well equipped and well supplied. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty enough room for us (a party of seven adults) although we didn’t spend that much time there, as we were out visiting shows (at the Edinburgh Fringe). Communication was great and the hosts were very amenable to dropping bags off before check in. If you are looking for a ‘bolt hole’ in Edinburgh for a sizeable group, this would be a great option.

It is a basement Appartment, so dark - but not a problem for us. Otherwise nothing else negative.

Good location, was nice having 3 bedrooms for our 6 person group.

In keeping with what seems to be standard most places we’ve stayed in Europe, the beds only have comforters, not sheets, and there wasn’t a great place to use the hair dryer given the lack of outlets in the bathrooms. Also, the towels didn’t ever seem to fully dry out between uses.

Location was fabulous but the property was not what we expected. The layout of the rooms and the amount of beds were not as advertised. 2 of us ended up sleeping on the sofa bed in the kitchen with a very noisy fridge to keep us up during the night. The property does not sleep 8 as advertised. When I booked there was meant to be one room with a double bed and then the two other rooms with two extra large double beds - these ended up being twin beds so we only had room for 6 in the bedrooms and had to sleep in the kitchen.
