The location was the best. Overlooking Lake Como and just a free shuttle bus trip to Bellagio to catch ferries and for a wonderful look around. Great restaurant and food. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented

Wonderful hotel and restaurant, with great views, friendly staff and quiet location on Lake Como

Perfect location in a less busy part of Lake Como, with spectacular mountain view. Even in February, we had a wonderful boat trip from jetty in front of hotel and were able to be "boat-taxied" to lunch in Bellagio on another morning. Ate dinner in the restaurant 3 times and had some of the best-cooked pork and calamari we have ever enjoyed. With a fine winelist. Very friendly service all round, whilst Greta and Daniela on reception were also always helpful and on hand either in person or via WhatsApp.

We didn't want to leave.

Al Molo 5 is 5🌟

The room was unbelievable, finished to an amazing quality with exceptional views on the lake. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with lots of useful information via WhatsApp. The food in the restaurant was also incredible. I was very lucky to chose this place and received the highest hospitality. If you are visiting lake como, you must try and stay here!!

Romantic, cozy, and wonderful.

Super comfortable suite, amazingly decorated and cozy. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views of the lake are just breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious and served in the room. The staff were super nice and helpful. Parking was easy to find, just outside the property.

The only nitpick about the property is the lack of good soundproofing. If you get unlucky with obnoxious neighbours, then you will be annoyed.

The stay at Al Molo 5 was great. It had all we needed and even more: a wonderful restaurant, a beautiful quietness of the location and fast and efficient bus transportation to Bellagio. Every member of the staff was professional and helpful. Highly recommended

Magical property on a mythical part of the lake not too far away from Bellagio. Options of city bus, ferry, or Uber to get directly to/from the property. Great restaurant and bar on property as well. Staff are amazing as everyone says.

Nice lakefront views in the isolation of a quiet, off-the-beaten-path village!

Our stay was memorable, primarily due to the amazing lakefront location—a peaceful retreat away from the crowds of Bellagio and other larger towns. The staff was helpful; they even helped us set up a wonderful group boat ride with other guests to tour the villas from the water, which was a highlight. Starting the day with the private balcony breakfast served directly to the room is a unique treat. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the mini-fridge and the convenient communal kitchen area (with a kettle, coffee maker, and microwave) which served as a substitute for in-room facilities. The tiny village itself is very quiet and charming. We found plentiful outdoor parking easily accessible.

The rooms are quite compact, offering limited space for luggage. While the bathrooms were clean and modern (and included a bidet!), they were also small and didn't include counter/storage space. We did notice some minor cleaning issues, which could be improved. Because the balconies are very close together, you will hear your neighbors if your windows are open, which affects privacy. Finally, due to its location in a very quiet village and its boutique nature, the hotel has limited immediate dining options and reception isn't 24/7.

Beautifly authentic and felt like home!

Everything! Lakefront, small romantic village, ferry comes right to the hotel to take you to Bellagio and other villages, boat rental right there, restaurant on site, small deck to lounge by the lake, rooms have lakefront balconies, bus stop right there as well! Off the grid but so close to Bellagio! Breakfast (bountiful) brought to your room every morning! I just don’t have the words to describe just how special Al Molo 5 is! Everything you need for a perfect stay is there! Greta was absolutely incredible and made us feel so welcome! She is so amazing at what she does! I can’t wait to go back one day!

Our only issue we had was with the restaurant which by the way is not owned by the hotel. The manager was very rude and denied us service. We wanted to have apps, dessert and wine and he insisted it had to be full dinner only. We were very surprised by this since we were hotel guests. Greta apologized profusely and felt terrible about it.

A little gem

A gorgeous little place outside of the hustle and bustle of the main Como towns. Really appreciated the morning breakfast on the balcony, particularly as the staff served it to us early so we could catch an early flight Handy having the boat stops right next door to Bellagio, Lecco etc

Fantastic stay at Al Molo 5 to kick off our 4 week Europe trip, Greta was an amazing host.

Property was on a quiet part of the Lake, we loved being able to get a ferry from our door into Bellagio to explore, but being able to return to the peace & quiet was perfect. Views were incredible.

If you wanted to be close to a lot of restaurants, this wouldn’t be your place to stay. You’d need a car to get around easily and eat at different spots.

The staff Daniela and Greta were super friendly and helpful to all our needs and questions.

The restaurant (which is the only in the village) did far from live up to expectations. The food was semi-decent at best and the service rather indifferent.

Beautiful and peaceful location away from the crowds.

Beautiful location, lovely room with a balcony overlooking the lake. We needed to make an early start and so breakfast was bought to our room at 7:15am. Helpful staff and good facilities. Its a very quiet an peaceful location with just a couple of restaurants and bars. Best to book a table as they do fill up.

Hard to think of what can be improved. Just be sure that the quiet location is what you want (apart from the church bells every halve an hour in the daytime).

Beautiful property located right on Lake Como. Immaculate clean and serene atmosphere. The girls at the front desk were absolutely amazing and helpful. We were celebrating our wedding and they made sure we felt attended and special the entire time. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy a longer stay.

Best boutique hotel on the lake!

100/10 everything. Beautiful atmosphere, location and all the amenities you could dream of! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, and getting breakfast to the room every morning was such a treat. The ferry is right next to the hotel, and with a restaurant on site, has everything you need. Would recommend Al Molo 5 to anyone!

Beautiful hotel… Friendly helpful staff from the moment we arrived.. Thanks to Greta for the very warm welcome and for sorting us an early morning picnic breakfast for our day drip to St Moritz.. Located next to Ferry Jetty so it was very convenient to access the other beautiful spots on Lake Como.. Restaurant attached served a very decent dinner with a beautiful view of the lake , on one of our nights..

We found one of the waiters in the restaurant was quite rude and abrupt.. when asked if could have just a drink next to the lake.. Also lacking a lift for the upper floors which would have been useful with heavy luggage

Perfect location

Location was perfect, if you like to be away from the main areas this location is perfect but not missing out on the gorgeous views! Located right on the lake front! Hotel was to high standard throughout. Even including your own private decking area to enjoy the evenings. The staff was so nice and really made us feel welcomed. The BEST breakfast served in your room and enjoy on your balcony. A great experience! Would happily stay here longer!

Simply fantastic and unique in its kind

Quiet and relaxing with attention to details. Staff accommodated all our needs, including last minute kind request for fresh tomatoes for breakfast delivered fresh upon request. Also got nice tote bag souvenir. Boat departure just in front of hotel
