I was scammed. And they took my deposit money. The stay was awful

I liked the location of the apartment. The parking spaces available and how secure it is.

I sent an unreasonable amount of deposit £350 which definitely wasn’t worth that much since the beds were uncomfortable and outdated. I haven’t yet to receive the deposit back and it has been 2 weeks since I checked out and now the owners are not responding to me when asked what is going on.

There was no heating during our stay in the winter.

The biggest issue we had which we didn’t like was that there was no heating for basically the entire duration of our stay. At the beginning of December with low temperatures. With multiple requests to the hosts to have the issue resolved, the problem remained and every night we had to sleep with no heat.

The outside of the property

Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing due to its poor condition and lack of upkeep. The house was in an unacceptable state of neglect and did not match the advertised standards. There are around 6 houses on this estate owned by the same person and we seem to have got the worst one. Other reviews don’t match what we saw at all. On arrival, we found that most of the furniture (except the beds) was cheap, broken, and uncomfortable. There were no rugs, lamps, or pictures on the walls (as advertised on the website), which left the house bare and unwelcoming. The white walls were stained and dirty, with squashed mosquitos on them in the kitchen, and the blinds were in the same filthy condition. The laminated flooring was badly damaged, the sofas were stained with broken arms, and one of the baths was smashed. The property was advertised with secure parking, but the electric gates were broken. We also had no heating for two days. It took six adults two hours of cleaning before we could even unpack. The fridge did not work properly, and the dining chairs were broken. Overall, the house felt dirty, neglected, and uncomfortable, with months of poor maintenance evident. While the beds were usable, everything else made the stay unpleasant. This property requires significant cleaning, repairs, and attention to basic comfort before it can be considered suitable for guests.

Little Pricy

Property was close enough to my venue.

Booked for 1 day & i was given only 15 hours stay. Deposit was huge compare to facilities, it was returnedas agreed. Check in 3 check out 10 was bit disappointing. Sofa cum beds were extremely outdated & uncomfortable. Property was clean.

Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Overall the house was perfect for us. There was 8 of us, and we were comfortable in the house. Loved the setting, especially the secured parking inside. That was a bonus for us. The beds were not as comfortable as we hoped, but other than that, everything was good.

The beds mattresses need changing, the springs in the mattress were making noise. The downstairs bulb needs changing, we told the owners, they were made aware of this. But we will definitely be booking this house on our next visit to Birmingham...

Absolutely awful! DO NOT BOOK!

Gosh, where do I start? This place is an absolute rip-off! The hosts make their money from charging ridiculous prices for the booking PLUS a £351 deposit, which they'd only refund if there's no damage to the property. FYI, this property is already damaged in so many ways and needs a complete overhaul! Other guests kindly posted very helpful reviews about various issues with this property so it raised quite a few red flags but the host, Prime Stays, reassured everyone, including me, that the issues were resolved so I cautiously booked a stay for a small group of us. Upon arrival, one of my friends and I did a thorough inspection before moving in and took pictures as evidence. Here's what we found: > Living room - the sofa armrests were damaged and wobbly; there was a wire hanging on the floor from underneath the radiator; the walls and skirting boards were worn out; the ceiling light was dim; the floor was dirty. > Kitchen - the dining table was really dirty; one of the cupboard doors was chipped; the wall behind the hob was chipped; the fridge door was severely dented; the fridge STINKS of meat and fish; the kitchen floor was dirty and peeling off; the balcony doors are wedged shut so we can't open them to go into the garden. There was a hanging ashtray full of cigarette butts on the garden wall. > Downstairs toilet - there's a blood stain on the walls and even above the toilet. > All the bedrooms - each room has a standalone wardrobe and dresser. The dressers were all dirty and severely damaged. My bedsheet had mud marks and blood stains. The carpeted floors were dirty. > All the bathrooms - the bathtub was already chipped and damaged in the ensuite bathroom; the floors and window sills were dirty; rusty corners were visible around the edges of each bathtub; lack of bins throughout the property. The whole property was dirty throughout.

Worst accommodation I ever had

It's awful experience me and my family had.

They didn't have health & safety measurements my wife had incident she slipped on the floor at entrance and when I informed staff they are least bothered. Even I have informed about it many times and asked for what they can do they always reply unsatisfactory I would never recommended to anyone at all it just a waste of money.

Grubby and smelled of smoke

The place wasn't very clean, dirty floor in bathroom and grubby skirting boards which looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Stains on walls. All houses smelt of cigarette smoke and/or Majiruna despite the fact that they were supposed to be non smoking places.

Moved into a property that we did not book. Single beds rather than doubles. Property not cleaned. This place needed a deep clean.For a new build, it is disgusting. Holes and doors off furniture. I have seen better furniture on a tip. Stank of Weed that stayed the whole time. Carpets not hoovered. Shower hanging off wall. We found remnants of weed in the carpet of the top bedroom. Charged for a clean that never happened. Noisy neighbors that played music till 5am in the morning. Hosts visited when we were out working rather than making an appointment. Someone new our key code and attempted getting in. The rear door did not lock fully, so we could not keep valuables there and had to keep in person. Hosts claimed to care but nothing was done. We feel totally misled and cheated. I would not site a tramp in this place.

Very big spacious house, great for large groups!

Very big house located in outskirts of the city centre. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

the property was a dump, dirty sheets, broken furniture, no battery in the thermostat to control the temperature of the house. doors didn’t shut carpet made my white socks black, house next door was partying till 5 am. been trying to contact management but no response.

Great getaway, good for families/groups, would recommend!

This was a great stay, lots of room and it was very comfortable. Especially like the walk in bathroom. All bedrooms were in nice condition and my group loved it.
