Heaven on earth

I wish there was water boiler in room but they were so much kind to give me bottle of hot water every day. I was on diet and could not eat wheat, and they could not serve me food with no wheat. However they have good options of other bread.

perfect hotel with a wonderful staff.

Everything during my stay was perfect - from the moment I arrived (I was a bit early and instead of just waiting, I got a tour of the hotel with an overview of the spa and gym) to the moment I left (I left early and was grateful for the bottle of water for the road). Everyone from the staff was genuinely friendly. The spa was lovely and there is a "women only" section with a big terrace where one can read a book in the quiet. The gym was nice and well aired unlike most hotel gyms which end up in the basement. There were yoga classes during the week which I missed but will try to catch next time. The food was great and the breakfast buffet had many options... the location is perfect - central while quiet and just a few min from the cable car...

there was nothing I didn't like. I can't wait to come back later this year again and to bring my girlfriends with me next year.

The ad said it will be a in a room, there was only a shower. The pool was at the other building across the street which makes it REALLY annoying to go and visit it.

This place is a star in Oberstdorf! The staff are super charming and big shout out to Joshua who was so kind and accommodating. Everyone was amazingly hospitable here - the spa at the basement was a great way to relax after a day of hiking and skiing.

Nice SPA hotel with spacious rooms, though a bit old school, though still has its charm. Breakfast is ideal with lot of choice.

The view from the room is amazing. The small lake on the property garden gives a very special atmosphere.

The breakfast is a disaster. It took them between 30 to 40 minutes to start serving food on our table and one hour to actually bring what we ordered for breakfast in all 3 days of our stay - and the same happened every day to other tables, so we were not bad exceptions. Probably due to Covid-19 restrictions, they have implemented a system that has been proved to be dysfunctional. Employees are visibly stressed, running around, shouting in clear signal of impossibility to manage the workload. I was on vacation, so maybe I could waste time and handle an streessful and unpleasant breakfast. But I am honestly worried about the well-being of employees, who have to repeat every day the same insane, dysfunctional work and receive negative reactions from clients. The swimming pool is unpleasantly cold. And we only received poor advices about trekking and biking routes in the area when we asked people at the reception desk. For sure our experience fell far short of the price we paid. Currently it is not worthy to spend that much money to stay there.

Sehr gelungener Urlaub, wo das Hotel alles Machbare dazu beigetragen hat.

Ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstückangebot, dass durch individuelle Möglichkeiten (z.B. verschiedene Eiervarianten und vieles mehr) ergänzt wurde. Das Abendessenangebot war auf sehr hohem Niveau, ergänzt durch Candle-Light-Dinner usw.

Es sind alle sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Sehr sauber und das Zimmer sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Aussicht auf die Berge ist atemberaubend und lässt zur Ruhe kommen. Sogar an meinen Geburtstag wurde gedacht, samt liebevoller Aufmerksamkeit. Ich werde es weiterempfehlen und wieder kommen

Die Lage ist top! Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war schön gross und ungewohnt ruhig. Das Frühstückbuffet sehr reichhaltig, ausgewogen und fein.

Hervorragendes Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Sehr große, komfortable Zimmer mit großem Bett, prima Matratzen, großen Schränken mit ausreichend Bügeln und geräumiger Dusche. Das Abendessen wie auch das Frühstück waren hervorragend, die Bedienung zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

Top-Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht, sehr gutes Essen, sehr freundliches Personal. Der Spa- und Fitnessbereich ist super.

Das Schüle’s wird bevorzugt von Gästen besucht, die als Stammgäste aus der Generation „Baby Boomer“ (oder älter) dort sicher einen schönen Urlaub mit individueller Betreuung durch das Personal genießen. Etwas mehr Modernisierung (z.B. Kaffeeautomaten) würden den Charakter des Hotels nicht verändern, aber durchaus nützlich sein.

Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Lage ist ruhig und unweit von der Ortsmitte

Frühstück war vielfältig, alles sehr frisch und lecker. Einzelzimmer war etwas klein aber in Ordnung. Ausreichend Stauraum. Abendessen sehr lecker. Der Schwimmteich ist ganz klasse!

Teilweise hat das Abendessen viel zu lange gedauert bzw. zu lange Wartezeiten (2-2,5 Stunden) obwohl das Restaurant nur zur Hälfte belegt war. Die Zimmermädchen haben die benutzte Handtücher einfach so gelassen wie sie diese gefunden haben. Normalerweise werden diese wieder ordentlich aufgehängt. Keine Wegweiser, Pool und andere Räume zu finden war etwas mühsam.

Naja vier Tage ok, könnte besser gewesen sein.

Die Lage ist ideal.

In einigen Punkten sehr viel Luft nach oben. Größtenteils ü70 Gäste, die sich vermutlich nicht beschweren. Dampfbad ein Tag ausgefallen, Schwimmbad vermutlich zu viel Chlor, teilweise muffiger Geruch. Der Service hat deutlich Luft nach oben. Frühstückt ab 7:30, ist man überpünktlich da Tourengänger, gibt es unpassende Servicepersonal Unterhaltungen. Vom Stil her, noch drei/vier Jahre, dann muss ein passendes Konzept bei, um Nachwuchs im Hause zu generieren. Preis passt nicht ganz zum Service und Angebot.

Ein Aufenthalt, wie er besser nicht sein könnte.

Frühstück bietet alles was man braucht, der Salon ist riesig und doch einladend, die Lage des Hotels im Grünen am Stadtrand ist optimal, das ("Erdbeer"-)Zimmer ist groß und gemütlich eingerichtet, Balkon mit Blick auf die Berge im Süden, was will man mehr.

Vielleicht müssten nicht soo viele Tische und Stühle im Frühstücksraum sein, es wirkt etwas überladen. Den Wellnessbereich habe ich nicht genutzt, daher keine Meinung.

Heerlijk hotel

Zeer vriendelijke personeel. De receptionist nam alle tijd om mij mooie wandelingen aan te raden. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, een combinatie van buffet en het bestellen van een warm ontbijt. Je krijgt een vaste tafel toegewezen tijdens het verblijf. Parkeren is gratis en het centrum is op ongeveer 10 minuten loopafstand. De bus stopt vlakbij. De wellness was fijn. Een zwembad en sauna, waarbij je kunt kiezen voor textielvrij of met badkleding.
