Apparently, the chef loves mustard and puts it everywhere. But there are people who don't like it and who are allergic to it. The waiter didn't know what the dishes were made of.

My 2nd trip there. Stunning location with excellent food and very good staff.

Just make sure when booking a room request the Mountain View, more expensive but worth it. Massage was okay.

A stay with ups and downs……

Nice view to the mountains. Some staff were very friendly and others did not understand good customer service. Good breakfast

The 4 course meny was below expected standard and we actually had a live worm in our salad! When we told the waiters, they just took our salad and that was it. Not even an apology of any kind. Very strange behavior I must say. The Manager in the reception apologized sincerely upon our departure and was quite unhappy with the staff.

A terrific find, a superb hotel

On a long roadtrip between the UK and Croatia, we chose this hotel because of It's location and as we had a dog with us we thought it would be great for walking her. This couldn't have been more perfect. Picture postcard scenery, beautiful walks from the front door, friendly staff, excellent facilities and a very comfortable bedroom. We wish we had stayed an extra night and didn't like to leave! The air is so clean, the lake in front of the hotel is crystal clear, nature at its very best. Dinner was a surprise, very good indeed, and breakfast was comprehensive and very good quality. We will definitely go back, we promised to drop some Yorkshire tea off for Martin, the kind and friendly gardener!

Impeccable stay

Positive and pleasant stay, beyond our expectations. Beautiful location immersed in nature, excellent indoor facilities. We enjoyed the restaurant's fine cuisine and rich breakfast.The sauna is large and comdortable and it also has a very well equipped fitness room. We will definately come back.

Great, calm, with a great location.

Overall the hotel was great. Great location, up the hill from Obertsdorf - very tranquil and calm. My mother had a massage and said it was great. The breakfast was fantastic. A table was reserved for us and our dogs- so we were able if we wanted to bring our dogs to the restaurant. The food for dinner was good with a few exceptions. The service was excellent both at checkin and at dinner and breakfast.

The food at dinner was not exceptional but it was good.

well run place, ideal for a relaxing weekend

Amazing breakfast buffet, great location and views, nice pool, very capable and friendly staff

it is as they can“t leave Covid behind : the staff is wearing masks, several shields recomnend customers wearing one, showers spots at the swimming poil keep closed to keep distance, tv remote control is wrapped 100 times in plastic for hygienic reasons, etc. I can understand there are still people living in fear, but what about the ones that don’t? Can all this be more subtile? I felt they hadn’t moved on. It was odd. (the reason why I can’t give it 10 stars)

Great location, remote and cozy atmosphere.

Everything was excellent, the pool was clean with perfect water. very good breakfast with many options, I would give it the highest mark but at dinner you didn't have many choices, (if you like more fancy and futuristic food then it's for you, in our family we eat "normal food". PS Great game room.

I would suggest a menu for kids for dinner.

The location is spectacular, beautiful and serene. The spas immaculate and the meals delicious. Every effort was made to ensure the comfort of their guests. It is an oasis and meant for a longer stay. We loved our time there and can’t wait to come back!

We had a nice stay the location is beautiful.

The beds were very good. The staff during the dinner were very nice and helpful. The breakfast is fine. The bartender was very very nice and attentive and friendly. The breakfast selection is nice not upscale.

The reception and the welcoming was very robotic. The gentleman during check-in was almost rude. I tried very hard to be friendly and polite but he did not respond to that. The was not explaining he was teaching me to a better guest. We didnt understand the F&B concept of the 2 seatings for dinner and breakfast. We were told what to do not asked. The staff especially the lady waitress at dinner was very nice and made up for a lot of it. The breakfast service is not really efficient and not really personal. The tables never get cleaned unless the guests leave.
