A delight for highly sensitive people

This is definitely a place we loved. It is a gem for people that are highly sensitive like me. The rooms are very quiet, in the restaurant the acoustics are good so that your senses are not completely overwhelmed after a meal. We really enjoyed breakfast and the buffet on Saturday evening. The hotel is family-run and the staff is very friendly in a way that feels very natural.

If you go skiing like we did, you have to plan your day around the bus schedule as there are only 6 buses a day and if you miss them it is a 1.9 km walk from the closest bus stop, which is close to impossible while carrying skis. However, we stayed at Am Sonnenburg in the past (closer to a regular bus) but would definitely choose Hornlepass again for all the reasons mentioned above.

Mountain idyll, rustic yet comfortable charm

This hotel was just wonderful. The reception was friendly and generous. Our Gästekarte allowed us to use the regional Bergbahnen free of charge, which really made the stay worth it. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was also well appointed. The view from our room, the calm, the surrounding gardens and farms make this place an idyllic getaway.

We are used to more covid-19 regulations and things here seemed just a little too loose. I know they were following the rules as per their region.

Beautiful mountain lodge

Beautiful location. The rooms are nice and clean with amazing view to the mountains. The food is exceptional using only fresh ingredients from the region and their own garden. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. From March till September, the room rate includes a card that you can use in many cable cars around the region.

Perfect place close to different Ski areas. The staff was really nice and welcomed us with a drink. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The rooms were spacious and clean.

One of the best holiday hotel in this region

I was looking for a very quite hotel to spend Christmas holidays and I am impressed by this offer. This is one of the nice family run hotel very pleasant ambient and friendly hosts. I have the feeling of home when being there. There are good hiking and cross country skiing opportunities, some time this depends on the weather. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next stay.

Perfect food and view! We loved it

Everything is perfect apart from the fact that you pay 5 euro per water bottle in the restaurant even though you get a whole booklet telling you about the mountain spring water coming out of your tap. A bit ridiculous.

Traum-Winterurlaub in Alleinlage aber mit allen Wintersportmöglichkeiten

Für einen Winteraufenthalt ideale Lage: Loipen und Winterwanderwege direkt vom Haus aus, kostenloser Walserbus hin und zurück zu allen Orten und Liftanlagen im Kleinen Walsertal. Guter Winterwanderweg in den Ort (Riezlern). Trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen in Alleinlage abseits der turbulenten Skizirkus-Orte. Zimmer im 2.Stock sehr großzügig mit Küchenzeile, Ess-und Schlafbereich und Berg-Aussicht. Wellnessbereich im 3. Stock mit Dampfbad, Infrarotkabine, Sauna, Duschen und Ruheliegen mit großartiger Aussicht. Frühstücksbuffet mit hervorragender Käse- und Brotauswahl u. vieles mehr. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Ausreichender Parkplatz mit geräumter Zufahrt vom Tal.

Die Lösung in den Wellnessbereich mit Sauna textilfreie wie bekleidete Gäste zuzulassen ist nicht ideal.

sehr freundliches Personal, schöne Sauna, Viel Regionales und Selbstgemachtes!

Essen ist sehr fleischlastig. Für Fleischliebhaber toll und auch sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig aber für Vegetarier könnte mehr Gemüse auftauchen. Letzter Skibus fährt leider schon um 18:15.

Außergewöhnlich

Die Lage war wundervoll. Abgeschieden und sehr ruhig. Die unmittelbare Nähe zur Natur und der atemberaubende Blick auf die Berge ringsum. Das traumhaft gestaltete Zimmer. Das schmackhafte Essen. Und besonders hervorragend die authentisch gelebte Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber und Angestellten.

Rundherum gelungen. Ein toller Ort als perfekte Basis für einen erlebnisreichen Wanderurlaub.

Die Inhaberfamilie Keck betreibt das Haus mit Herz und Seele. Die umfassende Modernisierung wurde mit viel Fingerspitzengefühl in einer guten Mischung aus Tradition und Moderne gestaltet. Alle Räumlichkeiten sind mit viel Charme errichtet worden. Der Wellnessbereich mit Blick aus der Panoramasauna und dem Ruhebereich in die Allgäuer Alpen ist großartig. Frühstück mit u.a. vielen selbstgemachten Marmeladen wie z.B. Marille, Zwetsche, Fichtennadelspitzen ist klasse, die Küche wartet mit einer anspruchsvollen regionalen Küche und der Besonderheit mehrerer Gerichte vom Hochlandrind auf, die auf der gegenüberliegenden Weide gehalten werden.

Rustig gelegen, heel comfortabel, persoonlijke service, lekker eten.

We logeerden in een appartementje met een heel groot terras dat van alle comfort was voorzien. Qua hygiëne: top! De persoonlijke aanpak van het hotel (vaste tafel in het restaurant, zelf gemaakt ochtendkrantje, eigen kruidenthee's en badproducten...) èn het super vriendelijk personeel - met een speciale vermelding van het enthousiasme waarmee 's ochtends het ontbijt wordt geserveerd - maakten dat we ons hier heel welkom voelden. Goed restaurant met een uitgebreide kaart. Kers op de taart is de panoramische sauna, heerlijk om na een lange wandeling te ontspannen.

Het weer :-) Verder echt geen opmerkingen.

Ankommen, Loswandern, Geniessen und Erholen!!!

Es war von Anfang an sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich! Am Empfang gab es einen Begrüßungssekt, was wir so mitten in den Bergen mit einem herrlichen Panorama und der Ruhe drumherum nicht erwartet haben. Das Zimmer war neu mit allerbestem Schlafcomfort und nach einer ausgedehnten Wanderung direkt vom Gasthof aus wurden wir mit einer wunderschönen Alpenpanorama-Sauna erwartet. Sehr geschmackvoll! Am Abend gab es dann leckerste Pilze mit Serviettenknödeln. Die Küche war überhaupt sehr lecker. Hier lohnt sich endlich einmal die Halbpension, denn man wird nicht günstig abgespeist, sondern köstlich bewirtet. Auch das Frühstück hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Und dann diese Stille! einfach herrlich! Die Wirtsleute sind Gastgeber aus Berufung undimmer spontan hilfsbereit, wie überhaupt das ganze Personal. Ich schwärme nicht immer so, aber diese Unterkunft war ein echter Glücksgriff!

Fantastische ligging!

Zeer mooi hotel gelegen op een toplocatie. Zeer rustig in de bergen. Je moet een stuk over een smalle weg om er te komen maar er zijn genoeg mogelijkheden om even aan de kant te gaan staan en iemand te laten passeren. Of je moet even achteruit….Voor mij geen probleem, je krijgt er een hele mooie locatie en heel veel rust voor terug. Het appartement is zeer netjes, groot, van alle gemakken voorzien en wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt wanneer je dit wenst. De hond is meer dan welkom! Het personeel is super aardig. Het ontbijt is goed, het avondeten is super, erg lekker en voor mij erg veel ;-). Vanuit het hotel kun je meteen diverse wandelroutes nemen. Of je pakt de bus of auto naar omliggende wandelgebieden. Welke er 1000+ zijn. Een heel mooi gebied. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug, ook in dit hotel.

Alles in allem Super und das Preis Leistungsverhältbis ist auch spitze.

Das Personal ist unglaublich zuvorkommend, freundlich und einfach Top! Das Hotel ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind groß, hell und haben einen tollen Ausblick mit Balkom. Es ist wunderbar ruhig. Nicht zu vergessen die Küche! Ein Lob an den Koch !

Jedoch ist es schade, dass der Bus um 18:20 Uhr das letzte Mal dort hoch fährt, weil es schon etwas abgelegen ist und der Weg zu Fuß schon etwas steil ist.

Zum Entspannen ein sehr schöner Ort am "Ende der Straße"

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und Personal im Service; tolles Essen, super ruhige Lage. Der Ausblick beim Frühstück (Fensterplatz) ist Natur pur.

Das Bett war ok für ein paar Tage - eine etwas härtere Matratze wäre top gewesen. Und - falls Fußteil vorhanden - für große Personen ab 190cm etwas beengt.
