Great apartment, good value for money and close to all touristic attractions

The apartment was amazing, location so great close to all touristic attractions. The host was so kind to meet us to hand us over the keys and show us around the property. The apartment was also so clean and well equipped with the necessary amenities for an enjoyable stay

Incredible location!

Incredibly location, you walk out of the front door and you were in the heart of everything. Shops, food, bars, was perfecto!

The oven was taped shut and didn’t work, there was no kettle or toaster and the gas stove had to be lit manually.

The beauty of Venice just about made up for the awful apartment.

Great location. Supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Vaporetto stop nearby.

Wasn't aware flat was on 3rd floor. Was more like a student flat with most things not working ( oven sellotaped up, dodgy adaptors taped with gaffer tape to toaster and kettle - kettle adaptor started smoking and toaster didnt work) and really dangerous electrics with covers coming off front of sockets. Bathroom was grim. Dirt and mould between tiles and no blind on the window. Thinking of reporting to tourist board.

Venice Trip

The location close to the taxi boats.Inside Venice. Bed was reasonably comfortable.

The house was hot, and the AC was just a cooler and could not extract the heat effectively. In other rooms, the cooler was actually emitting hot air inside, which made the situation worse. We had to keep the windows open for ventilation. The compressor kept switching off and was also emitting hot air. The room was dusty. The apartment was on the 3rd floor and had no lift.

The actual apartment was very clean and a great location.

The communal entry foyer was full of rubbish. The air conditioning was completely inadequate for a Venice summer and wasn’t even plumbed in for one bedroom. Simple touches like refilling the empty ice cube tray, putting a jug of cold water in the fridge, providing some teabags and milk sachets would have been appreciated.

The location is great.

The flat was smaller than the pictures made it appear. The bathroom was not all that clean, hair was behind the taps, and in the shower. There was no curtain or obscuring glass in the bathroom window. The mosquito nets at the windows did not work.

Passable

The owner of the apartment and Nicol who met us to hand over the keys were wonderful and did their best to suggest places to eat/see. They helped any way they could and were great at responding to any concerns!

Unfortunately for our stay there was an issue with the water and we had to stay in another apartment for one night luckily it was right above the original. The over all apartment was fine, kitchen was small but can be used easily and bathroom shower leaks very badly but overall was completely okay stay. I am not sure if we would pick that particular apartment to stay in again however the location was super easy just 3 minutes walk from San Toma stop on water bus and 15 mins walk to main areas. Overall not a bad experience at all, especially because of the help from the hosts.

The best flat I have stayed in Venice so far.

The host was superb, she was always answering our questions within seconds. The property is old but well kept, with a nice view. Comfortable beds, good facilities for cooking, good wifi. There are nets against mosquitoes, which helped a lot. There were so many useful things there, we felt like at home. The location is good, you can use the water bus from St. Toma.

There is an air conditioner(rather for commercial use, then domestic), which we highly appreciated but it was very noisy at night. Also, the tube of the air con was too long, going through the kitchen and getting extremely hot. This made the kitchen very hot. Luckily, the temperature fell and we did not need it.

Great location and nice appartment

The location is great, right in the city center. The host great and was able to arrange an iron. Its not a huge appartment but that seems to be standard for Venice.

There are high stairs which might be difficult for older or disabled people. Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about.

- Dusche komplett verschimmelt - ekelhaft - Duschhalterung einmal nach links gedreht und abgebrochen - um im Bad das Fenster zu öffnen muss man durch die Dusche klettern - Muffiger Geruch - WLAN schlecht - Matratzen komplett durchgelegen , verursachen Rückenschmerzen des Todes - haben uns komplett geekelt, die Bilder auf Booking sind alt und haben nichts mit der Realität zu tun - Mückengitter defekt , kein Schutz
