Adorable apartment in the heart of Venice♥️

Nicole if an excellent host! she was there to meet us and offered lots of information. the location is wonderful…walking distance to everything you need. the terrace is adorable, the apartment was spacious and perfect for our family of 5, and we loved our stay!

there are 4 flights of stairs. Not really a negative-just be sure everyone is physically able to haul their luggage up that far because it’s a lot.

good wardrobe facilities. great location on a big piazza. had lovely view of roof tops where could hear the bells ringing. roof top a bit tricky to access. easy access to useful nearby facilities - ATM, restaurants, gelato, supermarket. nice host

Good

Pros: * In center of Venice * Our contact person was friendly and responsive. * Has a balcony, although the view is mostly just other rooftops. * Has a washing machine (but no drying rack!)

Cons: * Bathroom frequently smelled of sewage, and the smell would go into the rest of the apartment when the door wasn't closed. Host said this is typical of Venice, but we saw that the toilet had been repaired with tape, so I suspect this may have caused or increased the smell. * No privacy in bedrooms, as all the rooms are connected, with the balcony at the very end. * Accessing balcony requires climbing a ladder and using a small door. * Signs all over house threatening extra charges, including for repainting if you killed a mosquito against the wall.

Ideal position, Terrace is fabulous, newly painted. Nicely furnished

Temporarily, but not convenient: they renovated the appartmend underneath and the front of the building - quite some noise during the day. The entrance looks like a building site... Aircon is not installed, the 2 aircons need open windows, noisy. The second bedroom only accessible through the first bedroom. Aircon in the bathroom smelly.

Saubere Dachwohnung zum Übernachten

Gute Lage, unkompliziertes check-in, sehr sauber.

Viele Mosquitos, sehr warm da im Dachgeschoss, AirConditioning sehr laut mit Wasserleck. Bettermatratzen durchgelegen.

Desilusión

La ubicación es muy buena. La comunicación con el alojamiento ha sido en todo momento correcta y las personas que nos ha atendido tanto por whatsapp ( Elisa ) como quien nos dió las llames ( Paolo) han sido muy amables.

La casa no tiene nada que ver con las fotos. Sólo hay una habitación, la otra en realidad es una cama puesta en un pasillo por el que hay que acceder a la otra habitación, por lo que no hay ninguna intimidad. El sofa cama del salón que se ve en las fotos no existe , hay en su lugar 2 plegatines pequeños que se abren y son realmente incomodos para dormir que son los que aparecen en alguna foto abiertos como si fueran otra habitación con 2 camas. El tema terraza parece una broma para empezar hay que acceder por unas escaleras que dan a la habitación y entrar por una pequeña ventana, no tiene luz, las vistas sin mas, en definitiva no aporta nada. A pesar de que todo estaba aceptablemente limpio la casa tiene un olor bastante desagradable que sale del baño y de hecho piden que dejes la puerta del baño abierta para evitar humedades. Hemos ido en invierno y la temperatura de la calefaccion está bloqueada a 22° lo cual no seria problema si no fuera porque te la apagan por remoto con lo que cuando vuelves la casa está congelada. La cerradura de la puerta está tapada por lo que no puedes cerrar con llave por dentro. El edificio en si necesita una reforma, la puerta del portal cuesta muchisimo abrirla y cerrarla y pesa mucho y además deberia de indicarse que el apartamento esta en un cuarto tramo de escaleras considerablemente empinadas por lo que no es apto para personas mayores, con movilidad reducida o que viajen con niños. Hay carteles amenazantes por toda la casa indicando sobrecargos si te dejas las llaves dentro del apartamento, si matas un mosquito y queda mancha en la pared... Respecto al menaje el secador de pelo no funciona y solo dejan 2 toallas de manos para 5 personas en 4 dias
