About this house rental

In the center of Venice, just to live like a true Venetian.
a stone's throw from the Rialto bridge, the famous market, and a few minutes from Piazza San Marco, the Basilica dei Frari, and close to the vaporetto stop, very convenient for exploring the city in comfort, with climate and independent heating, fully equipped can accommodate up to six people, or six friends. Ideal in all seasons, to live in Venice as a protagonist of your holidays.

If it is requested, in the case of only two guests, and, with a minimum advance of two weeks, to sleep in separate rooms, 20 € more laundry costs are required.

We do not make changes to the last minute beds, if they are requested, in any case the sum of 20 euros must be paid to the person who makes the bed service.

Booked this apartment many months ahead for our stay the end of May. Sylvia met us at the waterbus stop and we did not walk far! You do walk up 2 sets of stairs to get to the apartment. It is very spacious and clean. My family ended up getting take a away pizza 2 night in a row and we ate in. There is air conditioning that works and gets cold, however the one unit is outside the bedrooms. You need to sleep with the bedroom doors open otherwise the bedrooms get hot and stuffy overnight. The bathroom is a tight squeeze, especially getting in the shower. The whole place js renovated but I think they couldve done something better to layout the bathroom. The shower is very small. The door opening will not accommodate anyone who is overweight without literally squeezing yourself in between the door openings. The lever to turn water on is on the shorter wall so you are always bumping it. Plenty of space in the kitchen and the fridge is a good size with a nice size freezer. The living room is huge with 2 large sofas and a dining table. Again, a better designed floor plan durijf renovation they could've added a washer and dryer and that woudlve been a bonus. There is a clothesline outaide the bedroom windows. The snaller bedroom could have a ceiling fan instead of chandelier to help with air floor. That is the designer brain in me pointing out some things that can make it an even better place.

We loved our stay! The apartment was way more spacious than it shows online. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. the hosts were very responsive and informative. The location could not be beat.

We stayed June 30-July 3 and our stay was perfect. Silvia met us at S.Silvestro and it was a very short walk to the apartment from there. She gave us a list of dining suggestions when we asked, we didn’t cook at all, but the kitchen would work great if you wanted to cook. We had a small issue with the hot water, but Alberto was able to instruct us via text quickly how to fix it. Everything you would need is very close by, we loved our visit.

We felt right at home at this property. We appreciated the full shutters to block morning light and the extra blankets for cozy beds. The mattresses were a little too firm but we slept well enough. The building was nice and quiet and a great location for shopping and restaurants as well as sights. The owner was indisposed but sent a fabulous replacement who gave us helpful tips and good recommendations. She spoke multiple languages and was so pleasant. Our family of five fit the apartment well, and it was one of our favourite spots during our trip.

Excellent experience at Rialto Twin House. The hosts are super responsive, very outgoing and offer many helpful tips on how to navigate Venice and surrounding area. Accommodations are clean, well maintained, and conveniently located near restaurants and shops. Close enough to the Rialto bridge yet tucked just far enough away so as to not be overrun by tourists. For us it was the perfect location, central to all of the sites we wanted to visit.

Great location; easy access to water bus/transportation, super clean and you couldn’t ask for a better host. Alberto reached out with detailed instructions beforehand and arranged for Silvia to meet us at the water bus. She walked us inside and answered all our many questions with a smile! Owner was great communicating everything and very specific on how to find the place. I suggest that the two couches be redone or replaced due to the humidity peeling the leather off, but we just put blankets over it. I think this is probably the best location you could be in - so much fun - THANKS!!!

Venice is always lovely to visit and this appartment is very near to the vaporetto station, has shops and restaurants nearby and is very comfortable. Two nice bedrooms, a nice lounge, a kitchen where you could cook and most importantly a hairdryer and an iron! Check in was quick and efficient and check out also! Can recommend the place wholeheartedly! Thank you we will be back!

Sylvia met us at the water bus and led us to the nearby apartment. She was very helpful and answered all of our questions. We had one small issue and Alberto was prompt to respond and provide resolution. The place was very clean and updated and we loved the location. I would definitely stay there again.

This is an excellent modern finish apartment but with a bit of rustic flare with the beamed ceilings. The 2 bedrooms and family area and kitchen suited our family of 4 adults. Alberto was great at communicating with us, meeting us at the dock and providing us with information on getting around, good restaurants, and things to see. Location is steps away from a dock and close to groceries, shopping and restaurants. Not far from Rialto bridge to get across Grand Canal. It is on 2nd floor and no elevator. No laundry facilities but one near by. Only had a few days here but loved it and will come back!

A great place, centrally located close to rialto bridge but far enough off the beaten path as to be fairly quiet. Had everything we needed for a family of 5 travelling with 3 kids. Easy check in, clean space with all the basics. Very much enjoyed our time in venice.

Lots of great communication before our visit and the check in was easy with great advice. A wonderful location to walk everywhere very near San Silvestro valporetto. Our host helped us organise a babysitter for a welcome night out without the kids. The apartment was a great size and nicely refurbished. The separate beds in second room suited us for traveling with children. Kitchen well equipped and they have coffee pods, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets which were much appreciated. The only one thing to make it even more perfect for a family would be a washing machine. Best place we stayed in Italy and would happily return. Grazie, Alberto and Silvia!

Alberto’s place was excellent! Listing was exactly as described and in a perfect location next to the water taxi, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. All of Venice is walkable from here. The beds were comfortable and Alberto was kind enough to give us espresso for the coffee maker and tons of suggestions on how to get the most out of our trip. Great location and great host made this a spectacular trip. Thanks Alberto!

The apartment is within walking distance to the Rialto bridge and the Grand Canal, restaurants, shopping, and main attractions. We used the boat transfer only to transfer luggage on arrival and departure as we loved to walk and see the sights. We appreciated the host meeting and taking us to the apartment, providing information and answering all of the many questions.

The apartment was in a great location, Alberto met us off the water taxi and took us back to the apartment which was a great help! We bought a weeks water taxi pass when arriving in Venice which we actually didn’t need being so close to the centre! However it did give us the opportunity to explore a bit more! Overall perfect location and perfect host! The local resteraunts did play a bit on the tourism and brought many dishes out that weren’t requested and charged us for them but you wise up by the next time! Thanks Alberto!!!

We rented a 2 bedroom to use 2 bedrooms- the larger room had no linen on the bed, and there was none available. I had a fever and he said would charge us to send someone - I was so ill I was medi-vac’ed to hospital, the third day, and we had been promised help to vacate the property on the final morning. Noone showed up to help my friend leave with all my baggage and hers. Fortunately the neighbours helped her after she dragged it to ground level, as I was admitted to hospital! He saw how ill I was when he belatedly collected us the first day. We also asked about turning on some heat, to no avail. My friend, to get all the luggage out by herself did not leave the keys in the apartment as requested to ensure we had all our belongings. I tried sending him emails but there was no wifi available to me in Hospital so they didn’t go through. I definitely would not recommend this property to anyone, after our experience. He never answered any of our phone calls- none of the numbers panned out and we tried many times!! Even the medical numbers were bogus!! My friend had to find a way to get the ambulance team to the apartment. Not a sympatico individual!

Nice apartment near the Rialto area. The vaporetto is close by so you can get all over Venice and out to Murano and Burano without difficulty. Nearby are restaurants and shopping, including grocery stores. The pictures of the apartment are spot on.
