The location was perfect, quiet village on The Pennine Way with good local facilities, a selection of pubs and places to eat; The Masons Arms was excellent for food. Our host Carol was warm and welcoming; the room overlooking the garden was airy and spacious with all we needed, and more. Nice touches like sweetpeas in a vase fresh from the garden. The full English Breakfast was cooked to perfection. We were able to borrow maps and guide books for local walks.
Nothing to say on this, we would love to return.

Lovely spacious room, tastefully decorated and meticulously clean. Beautiful views of the dales and incredibly accommodating and friendly hosts.
We stayed when it was mid summer and hot, and a good electric fan in the room would have been a great addition. It was very hot, especially at night.
