Its proximity to the station and town. Despite this, very calm area. Lovely restored inn on the corner of two streets. Very tastefully decorated, extremely clean, flowers on the window sill. Very pretty. Room comfortable and lean.

Very clean and the location was perfect for us. We found the cooked breakfast a little greasy for our taste but the evening meal in the restaurant was perfect!!!!!! Staff were lovely, friendly and approachable.
We found the bed and the pillows uncomfortable and couldn't have stayed more than 1 night if we wanted to. Plus the fire alarm went off (false alarm) which didn't help. Appreciate it's a one-off and not the staff's fault.

General atmosphere . Woman waiting was very nice and worked hard.
Very soft bed. Very average food- the “game pie” had no game in it!
