The location is great - close to the castle and canal but less busy than the centre of the town. Easy wali to the bus and train stations. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished and the shower worked very well. Corrinne was very kind, flexible and accommodating when we asked her to leave our luggages after check-out.
There is a relatively busy road nearby where some cars speed and can be a little bit noisy. On Monday morning at 4am the church bells were ringing, not sure why!

Comfortable, characterful and convenient. I had a lovely big room with everything I needed and the host couldn’t have been more helpful. A great base to explore Skipton and the surrounding area.
I initially found the keypad a bit difficult - you have to press the buttons quite hard and turn the handle the right way, but once I’d been shown how, it was fine.

A lovely, quirky little hotel, hidden away just on the very edge of the liveliest part of the town. Fabulous, French-style shabby chic decor in my small but comfy room. And just a very short walk to the castle and the bars and restaurants. Or a short stroll down the canal towpath takes you to the other end of the town centre. All this plus the weather was good all weekend. Fantastic!
