The only thing i can pick on is it should have a separate shower .Bath was huge but water went everywhere

The bed was comfortable, hot water on tap, lady at reception was lovely.
Where do I start? I was very disappointed. My husband and I had our wedding reception at this hotel in July 2019 and we, plus our guests, stayed for a few nights, so this stay for my husband’s FUNERAL, with the same guests, brought back a lot of memories, so it UPSET me a great deal that the hotel was a disappointment.
1. Lack of security
2. Poor cleanliness
3. Oversensitive staff using insulting language directed at my guests with no apology
4. EXTREMELY poor quality breakfast - at £110 per night, you expect something a bit more special than a bland, tasteless, very small portioned full English breakfast cooked in a microwave, and on my last morning, my friends staying in the hotel had joined me for breakfast and as the chef had to cook 5 breakfasts at the same time, it took 55 minutes to arrive. It was a good job I wasn’t in a rush.
5. Lack of room on this platform to be able to give sufficient details for you to be able to do anything about it. I do hope you will follow this up and ask for details so that remedial action can be taken by the hotel.
Unfortunately the only thing that differentiated this hotel stay from one on the cheap in eg a Travelodge etc was the location.
