Great location. Car parking on site. Bedroom was lovely, unsuited bathroom. Lovely sitting room available to use. Breakfast room was bright and airy. Good selection of Breakfast choices from fruit juices to full English breakfast. Vegetarian breakfast also available. Staff were all lovely.

A beautiful property set back from the main street in the heart of the village, literally 30 metres walk to the cafes, pubs and shops, safe parking and a wonderful clean suite with great facilities, and the delicious breakfast was brought to our room too

Fabulous location, right in the middle of everything.

There was nothing not to like, it was a beautiful place and we will definitely go back again!

Location was spot on and breakfast also very good.

Let downs were that the room was very cold and the shower was poor especially considering the cost of the stay.

We stayed in the Garden Suite and it was lovely and so cosy. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Everything was spotless and there was a variety of extra treats left for us to enjoy. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful time and plan to come back again. Highly recommend.

Location great and house so lovely in a,quirky way. Loved the lounge with honesty bar....nice touch. Log burner on to greet you on arrival and at breakfast. Breakfast superb...high quality ingredients. In fact quality touches throughout.

LOCATION: It's so close to the main street (just 30 seconds), yet tucked away in a private and quiet area - making this the best location in Grassington. FOOD: Breakfast was EXCELLENT. The Yorkshire breakfast is hearty and lip-smacking. To top it off, the service was warm and efficient. ROOM & PROPERTY: It has everything you need to make your stay comfy. Love the toiletries - so gentle and kind to the skin with a refreshing and calming scent. Charming and quaint cottage. STAFF: Friendly, helpful, warm and just good at their respective roles. If I'm not mistaken, I think it's an all-women staff force. Shout out to Lynne! She's awesome!

PRICE: I stayed for 4 days, 3 nights in Ashfield House. Would have stayed longer to see more of Grassington and to get to know the locals there, if the price was more affordable.

Amazing location, beautiful property, comfortable rooms with everything you could need and more, lovely special touches on arrival and in the rooms. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was fantastic.

Ashfield House was a wonderful unique experience, the old characterful house lies tucked away in the heart of the busy “All creatures great and small”-village and has even a garden and a parking space (they also filmed some scenes right next to the house for the series). Lynn is a lovely and super helpful host, bed was comfy, room nicely decorated and tranquil, breakfast delicious. Lots of nice hikes start around the corner, for example to Burnsall along the river. I would love it to visit this little gem of a bed and breakfast again.

It’s a very unique place to stay. The staff here are very friendly and the breakfast was lovely

The thin walls meant that it was easier to be disturbed by other people through the night

To begin with, it is a lovely place. Breakfast was very good and the staff was great. The owner did the cooking, at least when we were there, and twice I asked for scrambled eggs, cooked soft, and that is exactly what I got, and they were delicious (Usually they are overcooked for me.). It rained for 2 of the 3 days we were there, but looking out on the beautiful garden made everything ok. We were still able to do the hike we'd planned in the dales national park, which has easy access from Ashfield. For that hike we wore rain slickers, the wind was very strong, and my shoes quickly filled with water. Despite that, the walk was so beautiful, I would do it again under the same circumstances, although this time I'd wear boots.

There was nothing not to like. The owner was great, he seemed to take pleasure in greeting and chatting with his guests.

Used as a stop over while on a motorbike tour. Good value, clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. Lovely sized room, Watch out for the beams if you're tall! Owner was helpful as suggested parking my bike at the rear of the property and suggestion for evening meal, Thanks!

Room was lovely, clean and comfortable, location was great and car parking was a big plus. Handy for local pubs etc, although booking seems essential if you want to eat. Breakfast was generous and delicious.

Check in instructions were to ring a number, but neither my husband nor myself had a phone signal.

Quaint rooms, delicious breakfasts and a very comfortable room. And very convenient to the village centre.

Honestly can’t come up with a single criticism.
