Great accommodation for a few nights stay.

Ideal position for easy access to the village of Grassington. Clean & tidy with coffee/tea in the room along with a small fridge.

Cold fun with a hint of kindness from the cleaners

I thought the 2 rooms in the outer building vendale rooms were fantastic for our parents stay,very clean and so warm for them

The main building we had 7 rooms in total on our stay and the older rooms are awful,not clean very dated amd mouldy,also they were so cold,it needs all refurbished amd a good clean

Lovely house in a beautiful location would stay there again

Great location, good room size and a lovely house, easy access into property and onsite parking

We was in room 9 ground floor, lovely room but the shower is tiny, I had to squeeze myself in, I’m not a slim chap but I definitely not a big chap either, it’s the smallest shower I’ve been in and water pressure wasn’t great either, but we managed for 2 nights

I love Grassington but staying in that freezing room wasn’t acceptable, it should not have been rented out for the price

Good location in centre.

The central heating didn’t work or the towel radiator in the bathroom, it was freezing it ruined our stay, you could see yourself breathing in the room. The owners put a little oil filled radiator in the room it didn’t even take the slightest chill out of the air.

It was like staying in a student dorm!

No staff to ask questions Unable to access property as given incomplete instructions. Small cramped room that had seen better days and a bathroom that was like a corridor! Broken heating, although small radiator was supplied. Noise from other guests running up and down stairs banging on doors at 1.30 in the morning.

Location - very close to the centre of Grassigton. Location could hardly be better

No breakfast, no control of heating, sagging bed, noisy (other guests arguing, ringing doorbell after midnight), unstaffed.

Apart from the location nothing else went well

Advertised as a superior room but was cold, dated, with poor amenities, torn wallpaper and dusty skirting boards the room was overpriced at £200 and very basic. There was a cupboard that wouldn’t stay shut and opened into a wall cavity. Small car park not enough space to park, we were disappointed. Added to this we were woken with a fright at 12.30 to a screaming, swearing row outside our door which was intimidating and very aggressive, and as we were on the top floor we felt trapped inside our room and afraid to open the door. We are aware that wasn’t the owners fault, but on top of the disappointing room we felt traumatised and couldn’t wait to go home.

Great location. Clean and comfortable. No staff to check you in but no problem going straight room, key in door. Instructions sent by txt on day of arrival to let you know your room number and door code to let yourself in. Good value.

The location was good and the closest place we could find for a family birthday celebration a few miles away

Very helpful staff.

I rang a couple of times prior to arriving to clarify some things; Lia , the lady who answered my calls, was very helpful and pleasant. My friend left a coat behind and on arriving home I contacted Lia again by email ( as office phone line was closed, after 5pm ) and she contacted me back straight away informing me that the coat was with housekeeping and she would arrange with us for its postage back to us She was extremely helpful . There was plenty of tea , coffee , hot chocolate, and milk on the tea tray, and my request for the king bed to be made up as twin beds was done. The beds were very comfortable too. All in all , a lovely stay for one night.

There was only one very small thing which I think could he rectified. In room 1, there was a stain on the carpet behind the sofa; I'm sure with the appropriate treatment, it could be removed .

Great location, ideal for Grassington and visiting the local area.

Lovely property in a perfect location. Our room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was also peaceful day and night.

No breakfast provided but you do get tea/coffee making facilities so porridge pots and cereal bars are an option. I would have expected things like complimentary water to be restocked when staying for more than one night with the price we payed.

I was in Grassington for a couple of days walking - it was good to know that the room was waiting.

Notified well in advance of check-in what the pass code was to get through the main door. Also notified which room I was in and the room would be unlocked and ready for me. It didn't include breakfast, but the room itself was excellent.

An option for breakfast might have been nice, but there were several cafes local to visit. Given that it is a 'lodge' type of accommodation, I wasn't really expecting breakfast anyway. In truth, I can't really think of anything that could be improved with the accommodation.

The location was perfect, right in centre of village and near visitors centre to get info on local walks. There was parking and everything was comfortable and straight forward.

I didn’t like the fact it was a double bed when we booked a twin but was able to separate the beds but apart from that, it was lovely and comfortable.

Great Location if visiting Grassington

The location was fabulous and on site parking was a bonus. Also having a room on the ground floor. The bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom.

No hot water for a shower. Floor boards in the room above were very noisy also the staircase at the side. Only 3 tea bags between 2 people. TV very small. Expensive for one night without breakfast included!

Disappointing stay for our anniversary weekend but we loved Grassington

Bathroom not inside bedroom & we weren’t informed about this until I asked (after reading other reviews). Hotel’s website also says bathrobes are provided so we didn’t bring our own (to walk to & from bathroom for shower). No robes were provided & when I asked on the phone on arrival I was told “we provide big towels” Room very dusty & mirror was smeared, so not cleaned properly Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke No toilet paper in bathroom & as no staff onsite we had to ring up to ask for this & then wait until the next door neighbour brought a roll round. WiFi is poor One socket wasn’t working

For the price we paid , we would have expected the televisions to work , and the WiFi. I did contact the staff via email , and an engineer was offered to attend , but only staying one night , we didn't want to inconvenience anyone.

Location and ease of access to the property. Have no breakfast facilities wasn’t a problem for us.

The toilet facilities were very noisy especially when using them in the middle of the night 😤I understand it is probably the only was to get water and disposal facilities to the room. Filling up our milk or access to a refill for the second day would have been appreciated.
