Fabulous place Really comfortable & clean Situated in a central location Grassington square Our room had am fantastic views. Beautiful decor. Dining is exceptional Very talented team of chefs. Lovely warm & friendly staff.

Our only gripe was the cheap plastic kettle that took forever to boil.

Fabulous, quality hotel right in the centre of Grassington with an excellent restaurant.

Located right in the centre of Grassington on the main square. Beautifully decorated and maintained with everything done well. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you would expect in a quality hotel, including fresh milk provided in a thermal container. We ate dinner in the hotel and the food and service were excellent. Breakfast was the same, very good and excellent service. If we stay in Grassington again we will try to book in here.

I can't think of anything that could be better. I suppose it would be nice if it was a bit less expensive, but it was definitely worth the money for us.

Fantastic hotel, staff, food and location can’t be beaten!

We loved the home made biscuits in the room, a very nice touch. We were given a room on the top floor which had just been renovated overlooking the main square. It was wonderful. We had one of the best steaks ever, in the restaurant at night, absolutely gorgeous. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back soon.

Good breakfast, friendly waitress and idea location for people wishing to make us of the beautiful

The room I thought was slightly small and required a little bit of TLC, however, I appreciate it was one of the less expensive rooms, as basically we only needed a place to stay overnight, any longer we would probably have opted for a larger room. The room probably could have done with redecorating, but again realise we nearing the end of a busy season.

Magical location, tasteful room and excellent food

Lovely village location. The room was elegant, clean, fresh and comfortable. The dinner was very good. Excellent flavours, great menu choices, polite friendly waitress and attractive decor.

Overall a lack of warmth and a sense the staff did not enjoy their work. A very underwhelming greeting upon arrival. Could easily be mistaken for a recorded message on repeat. However, may just have been a long day. It would not stop us returning.

Fabulous stay.

Fabulous building right on the main Square in Grassington. The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. We had a small issue with a towel radiator we couldn't turn off and not only did they get it sorted out quickly the owner came up with 2 glasses of Pink Prosecco for us! We had our own little balcony to sit out on to drink it too! The room was small but beautifully decorated, and had a chandelier! Comfy bed, albeit a standard double. We were also provided with a top sheet as it was too hot for a duvet. The owner gave us real milk for tea, and there were home made cookies waiting for us! Breakfast was lush too. Good quality cooked full English and home made jam and marmalade . A family run establishment and the extra attention to detail showed. Lovely. 👌

The only thing l would have preferred was a king bed but other than that it was perfection! 👌

Great location but Hotel let down by a few issues !

Excellent Breakfast, Parking was good and location was amazing ! Grassington is a picture perfect village and certainly worth a visit.

Room was very small and over the Kitchen area so could hear the extractors in the morning and early evening. Room included a very small Balcony but once again you could hear the noise from the Kitchen. Overall the room was overpriced for what you actually receive.

The room was eccentricly furnished with a plastic chandelier over the bed-bedside lights which bordered on dangerous! The shower was hopeless you waited ages for warm water with little power when it came flashing lights like a disco and no way of avoiding hair soaking!

Lovely friendly staff. Small but comfortable and well equipped bedroom. Nice little touches like fresh milk for our room. Our evening meal was delicious and beautifully served and breakfast was lovely, made to order and again little touches that made it special like home made wonderful muesli and marmalade.

Grassington birthday trip

The staff were wonderful. So pleasant and helpful, special mentions for the bar staff, the young breakfast waitress, and Sue the owner. Although we didn't encounter the cleaning staff, our room was immaculately made up. Bar was cosy and locals were also there, giving it a nice community feel-but we found all of Grassington to be like this. On my husband's birthday they all joined in with a rendition of happy birthday :) We didn't eat an evening meal but our breakfasts were so good- the homemade granola was my favourite, and not a buffet in sight, all table service and food made to order. WiFi was good throughout, we had homemade cookies left in our room both days and a cold flask with real milk instead of tiny uht pots, and fresh bottled water both days. Our bed was really comfy, selection of pillows, nice quiet top floor room with no immediate neighbours. Plenty of power points for chargers, good lighting in bathroom and bedroom, decent dressing table area ideal for hair drying. Temperature just right, in bedroom and throughout hotel, blankets available in bar and outside area for chilly evenings. Parking was good and plentiful. We would love to go back here.

I had to move the giant reed diffuser into the bathroom because it was just too strong for me. However it didn't cause any further issues once I'd done this. The stairs are typical for a building this age, be mindful if booking for someone with reduced mobility that this hotel has no lift. I would have loved a bigger shelf in the shower!
